Dr. Arnold Menezes, MD

After being diagnosed with a wildly confusing conditions several years ago, I was referred to Dr. Menezes. I walked in emotional, confused, and clueless and he accepted all of the above and guided me though them all. He has a way about him that is loving yet stone cold straight forward. In a world of doctors that typically have me leaving an appointment more confused them when I walked in, he is truly a god sent! He is the only one I feel I can trust & I look forward to each of our follow-ups with my long list of questions. He always takes the time to answer each one even when some are ridiculous & even when I’m asking through blubbering tears. He is patient with me and explains in ways I can understand. I truly don’t know where I would be on this health journey without him. He is the best there is and anyone would be lucky & safe with him as their doctor. Thank you Dr. Menezes!

Dr. Menezes saved my child’s life in 2006. My son was born with severe cloverleaf skull and his skull broke during birth. Dr. Menezes performed surgery on my son when he was 2 days old for 16 hours, picking fragments of bone out of his brain. The prediction was that my son would never walk, talk, eat and he would have very low mental capacity. My son is now a freshman in high school. He walks, talks, eats and he functions at a normal level academically. Dr. Menezes has been his doctor/surgeon ever since, numerous surgeries later and he is like family. To see his eyes light up every time he sees my son on a yearly basis is a sight to behold.

We brought our 9 month old daughter to Dr. Meneses in January, 1982. We had just found out she had hydrocephalus. She will soon be 37 years old with virtually no complications from the surgery and care of Dr. and staff. I have been under the care of Dr. Menezes off & on since 1991. Unfortunately, there is nothing this amazing surgeon (or any other surgeon) can do to help me any longer. But, for years, this wonderful Neurosurgeon, with a warm smile & a heart of gold, did everything possible to improve my life! Dr. Menezes fixed my wife's basilar invagination with traction followed by surgery from the back of her neck, avoiding the much more gruesome trans-oral entry (through the back of the throat). She lost some range of motion in her neck, but that was what had to happen. We were warned that it would. She now has much less pain than she did before the surgery, and generally she's been doing well for the past 10 years since the operation. We trust Dr. Menezes implicitly.
