Promptly Provided Expertise When I Needed It.
After a prostate biopsy in Carbondale IL, in July landed me in a hospital overnight and attached to a catheter for five days afterwards I needed a new urologist. I asked for a referral to a urologist at BJC and Dr. Bullock is to whom I was referred as a new patient. My biopsy report was sent to him and he phoned me after reviewing it. He said I had a low grade prostate cancer; would not need a prostatectomy and should continue watchful waiting. He asked what else I needed; I told him I was considering a Uro-Llift because of frequent urination. Dr. Bullock suggested I create a 24-hour diary, logging the time and quantity of each urination. I did so and he called me back to say I did not have any bladder issues, but was simply producing a higher volume of urine than most people. He was the first urologist to suggest this. It was all done over the phone. His advice kept me from investigating unnecessary procedures related to prostate cancer or on my bladder. I heartily recommend him.

Excellent care
I met Dr Bullock at Christian Hospital Northeast after an ER catscan identified a large kidney stone was the source of my pain. He and his Nurse Practitioner Anita Wilson came to introduce themselves, and explain my condition and the n procedure I needed. When he spoke in medical terms above my head, he would explain it again in everyday terms that I could easily understand. He came in immediately prior to surgery to see if I had any additonal questions or concerns. Surgery and recovery went exactly as described. His team came to my room several hours later to check on me. I would highly recommend Dr Bullock and his staff. Thank you Dr Bullock!

Great surgeon, great guy!
Had a Vasectomy performed in office by Dr Bullock. He was not only interested in completing the procedure but took time to educate and communicate. Answered all my questions and was interested in me as a person. He was personable and attentive before, during, and after the procedure. Procedure was performed efficiently and with precision. Small incision, no residual pain, easy recovery. Shout out also to his staff who worked seamlessly to provide me with an EXCELLENT experience.

Rude, Arrogant, and unwilling to listen.
Never really got any exam of any kind. Just spoke down to me and my husband in a rude and demeaning tone for not agreeing with his point of view. He is a legend in his own mind. Could have cared less about my husband or what he was going through. Not impressed at all with his credentials. Needs to go back to school to learn how to communicate without yelling at people.

Dr. Bullock did my vasectomy last Friday, and I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor! He and his nurse did an amazing calming my nerves. Very funny, but yet very professional. My wife was in the room watching and he explained everything they were doing to her. She says she can probably do the surgery herself now! Lol.

I found Dr Bullock after being refused treatment by 4 separate Urologists in the St Louis area, all gave me the same explanation "your condition is too involved" (I have insurance and money, I was not a pro bono case) I was given his name by a RN, and he accepted me as a patient. Well now let me simply say as far as I am concerned "he walks on water." He spend a great deal of time with me, explained my treatment, that it will be both involved, painful, but successful in the end. So please if you have Urological issues contact him, I think you will be as satisfied and happy as I have been. I was a RN for 41 years and Urology RN for 5 years, so I feel I had a little added background, that makes me so impressed with this MD, and his staff.

My Husband actully had an appointment with a different doctor that wanted to us the Robot for surgeory. Dr. Bullock was our second opinion that said the Robot will not save the nerve. That's why he does it by hand because the nerve is VERY important. So yes, as the wife, I'm very pleased.
