Dr. Armity Simon, MD

Warning, do NOT see Wendy under any circumstances. She is extremely rough. Also, she is also rude and condescending. I am surprised Dr Armity would continue to support someone so unfit for gynecology. Ana is fine and very gentle. Also, don’t let them schedule unnecessary tests. Dr. Armity errs on the side of over-testing. I want to believe it stems from a place of preventative care but the office feels like for-profit.

I noticed my review is no longer active from many years ago. I am still very angry for what happened at Dr Simon's practice and want others to know about my experience. I have never felt so taken advantage of in my life. Dr Simon made up concerns that prompted excessive office visits, hormones, tests, and bills. I have shared my experience with many people and the ones that have been to her practice have similar experiences. Please be informed before you see this doctor.

I had been going here for 12 years and was satisfied with the service and staff althoug I rarely saw Dr Simon and then all of a sudden doors shut with no notification or how to get my records. That much professional curtesy would have been the least that she could have provided her patients.

Dr. Simon is fine but her staff and especially billing department are awful. I had an medical issue from a procedure and they were reluctant to schedule an appointment. They claimed I had an outstanding balance of $29 and were not going to see me without paying that bill. I had to send them a copy of proof of payment which had been paid weeks before - they hadn't updated their records.

Seems like, unless you are pregnant, this doctor does not want to be bothered with you. But more importantly, they are out to make money on you. Scheduling unnecessary office visits and hoping you do not notice the 'errors' on your bill. Stay away.

Very arrogant and makes you feel like you are taking up her precious time. She orders unnecessary tests (many at her husband's imaging clinic, conveniently) that drive up your cost. She makes you wait over an hour with no explanation or apology. She treats her pregnant patients better, but if you go for just gynecological reasons, she is rude and abrasive. She will give you conflicting advice from one appointment to the next. I have never complained about a doctor before, but she is atrocious!

She did both c sections and I am scheduled with her for my third. Her NP Ana is equally amazing and I feel like I am in truly solid hands with Dr. Simon's practice.

Dr Simon performed my surgery after I had seen 2 other gynecologists in the area. The office staff were very nice and efficient in getting my surgery scheduled. Dr Simon was professional and compassionate and excellent in taking care of my hysterectomy. My family and I would recommend her to all of our friends and relatives.
