Dr Vanoyan was my wife's doctor during her entire pregnancy. And she delivered my Son, on 09/19/1997 in Concord CA at Mount Diablo Medical Center. My son was born healthy and is a healthy 26 y.o. Man today! Dr. Vanoyan, was incredibly attentive and professional at all times and gave good advice and was a good listener. We thoroughly enjoyed having her help us through a successful prenatal care and delivery! We would wholeheartedly recommend Dr Vanoyan as anyone's OBGYN!

Horrible Bedside manner
I saw Dr. Vanoyan as my GYN for 8 years and she was very kind and intelligent. Once I became pregnant, her bedside manner changed and became quick and inconsiderate. At my 38 week checkup she joked "why are you still pregnant?". She failed to ease any of my concerns. During delivery of my baby she she did not speak to me directly or tell me what she was doing which felt very violating and joked that "mommy wasn't ready" when I when too exhausted to hold my baby when he was born. I came back to her office to get my IUD replaced 3 months postpartum. She joked with me that i was "indecisive" because I wanted my IUD back and asked why I removed it to begin with. I reminded her that I had a baby which SHE DELIVERED 3 months prior. It was obvious she had neglected to look at my file whatsoever before coming to treat me. She seemed embarrassed but continued the appointment and gave me my IUD. I was in tears and she did not ask why. I will never see her again.
