When I first started seeing Dr. Shanklin about 4 years ago she was amazing, unfortunately that changed drastically in the last year that I was receiving care through her. She became super distracted, was convinced that there was something wrong with my heart when I've never shown symptoms of that, and kept prescribing me antipsychotics and other medications that I clearly stated I did not want to take. I ended up developing severe health anxiety and was on a plethora of meds that only made my disorders worse, the side effects of those medications were unbearable and greatly interfered with my general health and ability to lead a normal life.
