Dr. Gururaj is a wonderful doctor. He performed the heart ablation few years ago. I was very nervous but he assured me that I’ll be cured and left me with a zero doubts. My recovery was quick and I haven’t had an issue ever since. I’m grateful for the doctors like him. Bless him. He saves lives.

Go to Saint Rose Cardiology
I had a cardiac monitor implant by an associate of his that immediately migrated into my left lung pleural wall. My blood pressure was 187 over 293 after his associate did the procedure. Went back to Dahlia Hawass another associate of his and she couldn’t find the implant that was supposed to sit right under the skin of the pec. No stat order for a ct was scheduled by there office. I had to take the order to desert radiology and get it done myself. It showed the implant in the rear of my left lung pleural wall. Dr Guraj did not even review the ct scan showing its location. I had two family members at the hospital who are my healthcare power of attorney’s. He ignored every question they asked. He even asked my sister if she had any medical experience. Which does. 23 years worth. Before I know it I’m taken into surgery thinking this implant is coming out. But Guraj did an exploratory surgery even when the ct scan their practice ordered showed exactly where it was. He is not a doctor!

May be the worst surgeon and doctor in Las Vegas
Guraraj implanted my defrobrillator which in a few months became infected. I visited his office and showed him the infection just below the skin between the defibrillator and its lead at my mid chest. He told me it looked ok but to watch if it became worse. A few days later the redness increased so I called his office and left his office multiple messages - this was on a Friday. Some friends told me to go to the ER asap and fortunately I did. They admitted me and put me on mass spectrum antibiotics for fear of sepsis. Gurararaj didn't call me, my family or show at the hospital until Wed 4 days after I was admitted. His communication was abhorent and he acted like he could care less about my infection and was mainly interested in when he could reimplant it again. Needless to say I never let him touch me again and now have a very competent cardiologist and electrocardiologist. Oddly enough I've since met others that have had similar expernces with Guraraj.

I love Dr Gururaj. You couldn't ask for a better Cardiologist. He cares as much about his patients as he would a member of his own family. I trust this man with my life

A study in contrasts. The POOREST Dr. I ever experienced in regard to communications. I asked him a few very relevant questions regarding my pacemaker implant. He told me to "Check a web sight" and proceeded to rush me out of the room. In other words, a "3 minute doctor". The BEST doctor in the OR that I could possibly want. Greatest with his hands and surgery technique. Extremely precise and knowledgeable in the OR. Great Outcome. This procedure was preformed in Jan. of 2013. Before this I would totally faint with very little warning. I was out cold on the floor on three or four occasions in the previous year. In the intervening 7 I haven't fainted once. I believe it is called Bradycardia.

In March 2018 I had Afib so bad that I could not walk up a flight of stairs. On March 6th, Dr Gururaj performed ablation on me, followed by a cardio convert. Since then the afib has gone away and my heart is beating perfectly. This is the best I have felt in 20 years. I have energy, can ride my bicycle for miles and do yard work. Dr. Gururaj is a special kind of doctor. His operating personnel and nurses think the world of him. He gave me my life back. You can't put a price tag on that.

I was referred to Dr. Gururaj by Dr. John Bowers for an ablation which was done 08/01/2017. Dr. Gururaj was very thorough, answered all my questions and although he has a very busy schedule he has never made me feel as though he didn't have time to explain to me whatever my questions or concerns might be. I will definitely recommend him to anyone that may be in need of his specialities.. Thank you Dr. Gururaj!

Absolutely on of the worse doctors I have ever seen. Arrogant and would not listen to my symptoms at all. He was too busy telling me he was the only Electrophysiologist in Nevada and the best in the country. He thought he had it all figured out with a tilt table test he and his staff told me he had to be there for. Obviously he no showed. For my follow-up the staff told me the wrong date, rescheduled me then cancelled the next morning to reschedule again. Horrible experience.
