Dr. Arjumand Jaffri, MD

I was uncomfortable talking to her but she knew exactly what to prescribe me taking into consideration my recent weight gain. She gave me hope that things could get better. She was helpful and kept asking if I had any questions regarding my care.

My 12 year old daughter was seen by Dr. Jaffri for medication after coming out of the hospital for threats of self-harm due to the bullying in the school district.. The first time she saw her she spent less than 30 minutes with her after the nurse had spent 30 minutes with her getting info. Dr. Jaffri increased her medication, which reacted on her. I saw her through my teens, and at one point, she told my guardians to put me in a home if I didn't wish to take my medication. She misdiagnosed me with bipolar, which was later shown to be false when I got a second opinion as an adult. When I had a legal order for my school social worker to take me to appointments because my family couldn't, she refused to see be because 'the school would lie and say I'm a good kid'. Terrible, rude, and nasty woman that hates everyone but herself.

She never looks up, never smiles, never says anything personal or pleasant in any way. When she prescribes meds, she acts like she could care less and isn't even sure if the meds are what you need. If you ask a question, she acts like she is annoyed.

Mean and nasty woman, curt and abrupt, cannot understand 90% of what she is saying, sounds like mush in her mouth, talks much too fast and mumbles.
