I thought I was getting the best and spent over 2K of treatment but sadly made my hyperpigmentation far worse. I literally cried in the office soo distraught how I left off worse. Now I am taking oral medications and gave me bleach my skin for the mistakes made on my skin?? Really then why didn’t you give this to me earlier prior to the start of the procedure etc etc. I’m going for a follow up again in a few weeks but gravely disappointed with the outcome. It’s gonna take me months to fix her mistake on my face with bleach and medications. What a disaster…

I went to Arisa Elena Ortiz, MD to get a fibrous papule removed and sent for biopsy. However, she treated me like a # (in and out in 2 minutes with minimal talking) and after taking the bandage off today, the entire thing is still there (I am happy to attach pictures). While she did inform me these things typically come back, I would expect her to actually remove it first and at least give it the opportunity to grow back rather than never take it off.

Dr. Ortiz will address any concern you may have and will go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable during the procedure. She will make sure you are happy with the results and genuinely cares about getting your skin to be in the best condition possible. Dr. Ortiz gave me some filler for my under eyes and it took years off of my face. I would say what separates her from other doctors is that she makes everything look natural. I highly recommend her to anyone.

FROM THE MINUTE DR. ORTIZ WALKED INTO THE ROOM AND GREETED ME I IMMEDIATLEY FELT AT EASE. SHE TOOK THE TIME TO ANSWER ALL MY QUESTIONS WHILE EXPLAINING RISKS AND BENEFITS. HER BEDSIDE MANNER IS BEYOND PROFESSIONAL IT IS TRULY GENUINE. DURING THE PROCEDURE SHE MADE SURE TO TELL ME WHAT SHE WAS DOING AND WHY GUIDING ME THROUGH MY FIRST TREATMENT. I REALLY FEEL THAT SHE ADDED VALUE TO MY VISIT BY GIVING ME THE GREATEST OF CARE. I CAN SEE WHY SO MANY OF MY BEST OF FRIENDS COME FROM ALL OVER TO BE TREATED BY THIS AMAZING AND SKILLED PROFESSIONAL.

I had my first treatment with Dr. Ortiz today! She was very kind and welcoming. Dr. Ortiz explained what she was doing during the entire procedure and regularly checked to see how I was doing/feeling. She answered all my questions thoroughly. I felt very comfortable at the clinic and her team was tremendous. Overall experience was great and I look forward to returning!

Dr. Ortiz is a friendly and knowledgeable dermatologist. She is a leader in her field and uses the latest and most innovative methods to treat your scalp and skin. My hair was dying and falling out until she used the Platelet Rich Plasma Treatment on my scalp. Now, my hair has regenerated and looks rich and full. On my face and hands, she has removed unsightly skin moles caused by age and sun exposure. Finally, she has treated my legs to effectively eliminate areas covered by varicose veins.

I have had the great honor and privilege to be Dr. Arisa Ortiz's patient for multiple procedures! Each and every one of them resulting in a most incredibly beautiful visage, looking totally refreshed and youthful without a trace of anything other than natural! It is also worthwhile to note that her empathy and concern about her patient's well being is over and beyond the call of duty and any expectations! Thank you kindly for restoring me to my youth!

Dr Ortiz is now my 5th Mohs surgeon. She is an excellent physician and has now done 4 basel cells for me, two of which were on my face and the results are excellent! She is meticulous in her suturing, the swelling has been minimal. And she was very sensitive with my concern when she worked on my upper lip. At 11 days out, the scar is already minimal. She is truly excellent. If you do the "Mother test" for recommendations (and you love your mother, of course), she would get 5 stars!

Wonderful doctor. My go-to for any cosmetic dermatology needs. Very sweet, thorough, knowledgeable - great visits all around. Thank you Dr. Ortiz for taking care of my skin and making me look younger.

Dr. Ortiz is honestly the best dermatologist I have ever seen. She is so patient and incredibly talented. I have recommended her to all my family and friends because she is so wonderful. She also always tries to accommodate you with times and availability. Truly a doctor I enjoy seeing.

I had a horrible experience with Dr. Ortiz in July/Aug 2017 and because of her greediness ended up being talked into procedures I did not need. Thus, I ended up with medical conditions which I am still suffering from. When I went back with my complaints, she was dismissive, cold & condescending. I asked for my money back and I was denied. It's all about her! Not you! She should not be in the medical profession. NO STARS!

I have been a patient of Dr. Ortiz for several years and have been extremely happy with her care and treatments for me. She is very professional and listens to me carefully about my concerns. I do not hesitate to recommend her.

Dr. Ortiz is highly knowledgeable and compassionate. She took the time to go through all of the treatment options and helped me to decided what was best for my concerns. I really appreciated her expertise and bedside manner. She's the best!

I agree with so many that Dr. Ortiz thinks she is way above us peasants. I was treated with such a rude, unprofessional, condescending and flippant attitude. Because I did not arrive an hour early , which I had not been told to - she did a 1 1/2 hour treatment in half an hour. I had 2 PDT treatments on my face with her but because she barely even examined me before or after- they did not work. I now have skin cancer on my face and have to have MOH’s Surgery. I absolutely do NOT RECOMMEND.

Not helpful and over priced!!! The point of consultation is not to simply repeat what is on the brochure! I was charged significantly for less than 10 minutes of worthless cunsulation.

I could not be happier with the treatment that I received by Dr. Ortiz and her staff. I went in for dark spots on my face and left three treatments later with none. Dr. Ortiz used a new technology which was painless, quick and absolutely no down time. She was thorough in her explanation of the procedure, gentle and caring. I would recommend Dr. Ortiz with no hesitation.

Dr. Ortiz was very knowledgeable about my cosmetic questions and helpful about my daily skin care regimen. She was very honest about each procedure we discussed and what type of results and downtime I should expect. Her treatment of my frown lines was wonderful and very natural looking. I am just so pleased with my experience. I plan on returning soon.

If you had 10 stars that would still not be enough! Dr Ortiz is the most knowledgeable,kind and 100% best dr ever ! The staff are all wonderful and I’m happy each time I take the 3 hour drive to San Diego for her expertise. Her help been immeasurable and I can’t speak highly enough ,kind regards Jane
