Dr. Arif Mirza, MD

Dr Mirza and I have been working together for a few years crafting a holistic treatment plan based on behavioral and medication changes that has been refreshing. We created a long term treatment plan with check-ins and I have to say, he really ensures his patients are heard and validated. He did not rush me off the line, gave space for questions and concerns and has been a wonderful provider.

This is a predatory telehealth practitioner that has been licensed in multiple states to maximize profits. You will never speak to a living person beyond Dr. Mirza and will be required to communicate with the clinic via outsourced communication through their dubious VPP clinic app. They can and do delete messages at their convenience on the app, be sure to screenshot your conversations.Dr. Mirza is not trauma-informed and does nothing to alleviate anxiety during your initial visit, so if you’re seeking true psychiatric help, I wouldn’t recommend this unempathetic psychiatrist. There are plenty of other providers to choose from, but if you want Rx with little to no fuss, it will be very easy to get with this psychiatrist.Look elsewhere!

Dr Mirza is an amazing mental health professional! He has cared for my daughter who has multiple mental and physical health conditions for over twelve years. Where some practitioners may have given up (and have), he continues to work hard to find just the right mix of medications and treatment options so that my daughter is able to live without her diagnoses defining who she is. Dr Mirza is also a great listener who makes decisions based on collaboration with patient and parents, as well as his extensive and up-to-date knowledge of his field. My husband and I continue to seek the very best of care for our daughter and we're confident that we found that in Dr Mirza many years ago. We will be forever grateful that he works so hard so that she can continue to live her best life!

Dr. Mirza is kind, caring, and knowledgeable.

Quick with the prescription pad. A waist of time if you are looking for solutions. Found him ready to cut bait and run when you really need help. After +8 years was kicked to the curb and ghosted. Seemed to of lost his magic touch with empathetic responsible patient care. A discredit to the field of psychiatry.

Dr. Mirza listened intently, was open and responsive to my needs, and thoughtfully advocated for me.

Dr. Mirza is a highly experienced psychiatrist who genuinely cares about his patients and their related journey. He takes the time to understand their needs and care for them as he medically sees fit. Lucky to have found him.

Dr. Mirza is very attentive, intelligent, and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend him if.

I was a patient of his for 6mo via a telemed service; out of the blue, he no longer responded to my messages for 3 weeks reminding and asking him for a refill of my medications. My pharmacy also reached out multiple times. These are not medications that should be stopped cold turkey. As someone who works in the medical field, this is the most ridiculous and irresponsible thing I have ever seen, let alone how dangerous it can be. It’s next to impossible to find a prescriber for these medications immediately as I experienced. I was unable to have it refilled by the doctors and services I spoke to and had to find a new psychiatrist to prescribe them. While waiting 2 weeks for my appointment (the earliest booking), my body has gone into severe withdrawal (palpitations, hypertension, insomnia, vomiting, etc.), not even mentioning the psychiatric effects. I cannot express my disappointment and frustration experiencing this behavior first hand from another medical professional. Do better.

Dr. Mirza is a joke. Our son has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. We were referred to him as someone more knowledgeable to treat this condition. He is very unprofessional and talked to us with an attitude. The way he treated our son caused him to suffer a major setback. We asked why he was talking to us with an attitude and causing our son to get upset, he said he can't help us and refused to treat him. He spent about 10 min. with us and billed insurance $300. He is a waste of time.

Dr. Mirza is extremely accessible and easy to communicate with. He has been very helpful with our child who has multiple issues - ADHD, OCD, PTSD, +. Ours is a fairly complicated situation and he has been extremely helpful in all aspects of the care of our child. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who asks.

Dr Mirza is amazing- brilliant, insightful, warm and empathic. I feel lke he has saved my life!

I only wish there were an option for 0 stars. My daughter saw Dr. Mirza in an inpatient setting. Despite several requests, he would not communicate with myself nor her dad. Not only that, he also put ideas in my daughter's head which lead to some serious accusations and disrupted our family further. Dr. Mirza jumped to the easiest diagnosis possible, without exploring any other options. He never asked simple questions that could've discredited the thoughts he put in my daughters head.
