Best Ob/Gyn I have ever had

In my years of being with Dignity Health, I've only had 1 bad experience. Every doctor an nurse seems to just be amazing, and I'll say that Dr. Dumas now tops the list for me. Absolutely great experience with her, especially considering how nervous I was for my IUD removal. She was beyond comforting and professional. She even made sure to see if I am due for a pelvic and breast exam, which I am for both, and I really appreciate her asking about those things even though I was there for something else. This was my first time seeing her and I'm glad she is now my new "lady doc" :)

She was very gentle and kind about sensitive topics I wanted to discuss.

Dr. Dumas showed care in discussing my different options regarding my appointment as well as deep understanding as I expressed my concerns. I felt heard as well as comfortable during the appointment.

Dr. Dumas is a kind doctor. It was my first time visiting with her. I felt that maybe with her being a newer doctor that this feedback will be helpful since I also come from a consulting background. Just small details will make her care to patients better in the long run like maybe ensuring I am laying in a comfortable position while doing the ultrasound. I realized after I was not comfortable but of course I put that aside as I was excited to see my baby in the monitor. Also questions answered were quick but could use more explanation like when she kindly asked me if a high risk doctor reached out yet but didn't really explain details of why other than my previous medical condition. I did also get blood results which weren't addressed in my file but I forgot in the moment but feel my file should be checked at that time to explain. This was my first visit to re-establish with a Gynecologist and I was very pleased with her bedside manor and concern regarding my health.

I just established with her not too long ago, she has been so thorough with my care. I previously saw other OB providers that are within mercy but at different locations, and felt like my care wasn’t exactly being taken seriously. Felt as if my issues were quickly shot down. She ran all types of imaging/labs to check on all previous issues.. and then some.. and finally gathered why I’ve been in pain for so long. My gut feeling was RIGHT. I feel validated FINALLY. I have her to thank. Without her I would still be thinking that I must live with the pain and not be dramatic, because if my (previous)doctor isn’t concerned then why should I be?
