Dr. Ariane Kaplan, MD

Dr. Kaplan removed cataracts from both of my eyes three months ago. She is very professional and has excellent interpersonal skills. I appreciated that she was very open and took the time to listen and respond to my questions and concerns about surgery. I had gone to her based upon the strong recommendation of family friend. I am happily recommending her to other friends and family members.

Dr. Kaplan is an excellent cataract surgeon. She is professional, intelligent, and confident. She attentively listened to my concerns about surgery, patiently answered my questions, and helped me make an informed decision about which lens would work best for my vision. I met with three cataract surgeons, all with differing opinions, but I knew that Kaplan was the right surgeon for me. My cataract surgery was a success and I appreciate the care and kindness Kaplan and the entire staff at Kellogg provides.

Dr Kaplan saw me for two add on visits at Kellogg. Both times she was kind and patient. She did a full work up with dilation and films. Very educational and professional. After that, I scheduled my cataract surgery with her. She's a careful surgeon. Great with verbal support and reassurance. Surgery went perfectly.

Very good care and she listened to my issues.

My appointment with this doctor was a nightmare. I have never come across an ophthalmologist with a worse bedside manner. Because of my experience with her, I have promised myself that I will never return to the Kellogg Eye Center--ever, ever again.

By far she is one of the worst doctors I have met - extremely rude, arrogant, condescending.
