Can't think outside of the box
He only sees what he wants to see. He figures you out in the first five minutes but keeps you there an hour for no good reason. The social worker is more compassionate. He sits there waiting for you to finish. He tells you about services available but doesn't give them to you. If you are a woman with fatigue, you are liable to be prescribed an antidepressant. I told him right away that doctors reject fatigue with my illness (despite 93% of us citing it as the most common symptom) and how difficult it is to convince doctors. Then he rejected my fatigue and merely humored me to verify my fatigue by blood tests. I'd love to know the percentage of his female patients he has put on antidepressants. Typical of this local area's medicine. Typical lazy, male doctor. They made a big deal about palliative care when they recommended it. I'm afraid I got too excited. Skip it. He can't think outside of the box. I feel sorry for patients who don't have the energy or wherewithal to disagree with him.
