Made reference to my large breasts in clinical notes. I changed providers quickly. Ine staff member gave poor directions re sleep apnea supplies and insurance while another staff member gave good ines. It's your luck I'd the draw so I suggest you go to someone else

Frustrating. Great Doc. BAD staff/support
Telehealth
Dr. Klapholz came highly recommended, and I can see why. He listened, pointed me in the right direction, and gave me comfort. The office/support staff is bad. I booked my first appointment, after 'struggling' to reach them, and had to wait MONTHS for an opening. I had to 'baby' them getting transcripts from my previous doctor, before my visit. At that first visit, not only did Dr. Klapholz not realize that the results were already in the file, but, my insurance got 'billed EXTRA TIME' for notes/research, etc. I've been fighting the elevated claim for over a month, and keep getting 'form responses', instead of an actual response. A second virtual visit (again issues scheduling) went great, except Dr. Klapholz said a member of his team would reach out to book my next appointment (didn’t happen). I mentioned a prescription (he ordered), not even in my chart. Over a month went by, I've called multiple times (phone rings, no answer), at different times of day, to the point that I give up.

DIdn't listen, in fact he talked over me. He showed up 30 minutes late and had no time for me. He insisted I start CPAP even though my sleep apnea is mild. Worse 3 weeks of my life and though I called and messaged begging for help, heard nothing from him. Now he's pressuring me to get another extremely expensive treatment.

The Dr. is nice enough and pretty good, my real problem is with his staff, they were HORRIBLE, when in need of referrals or questions, HORRIBLE, you would have to call in MANY MANY times before you get what you need. I once had a trip to Paris planned and had a sinus infection, I needed antibiotics, because it is dangerous to fly with a sinus infection. I called in every day for "2 weeks" trying to get a prescription sent to my Pharmacy, finally calling the Doctors Home number the DAY before my scheduled flight, he FINALLY sent in the prescription, and was angry "WITH ME" lol, I flew with a sinus infection and had an infection my ENTIRE trip, because I had to wait 2 weeks to get a prescription called in. That was UNACCEPTABLE and I never returned to his office again. My STRESS LEVEL was Increased, My SAFTEY Compromised, and my Trip RUINED all due to INCOMPETENCE!! I'll never go back!!

Dr. Klapholtz is the best sleep apnea doctor I have ever been to. He takes the time to listen to the patient and answers the patient's questions. He fully discusses and carefully considers with the patient all the issues that the patient brings up. It is a pleasure to be his patient. His diverse knowledge, experience and expertise, coupled with an impeccable bedside manner, helps the patient overcome the challenges of sleep apnea. I have been a patient of his for around three years.

I received excellent care from Dr. Klapholz. He listened to everything I said. He did not rush me. He returned my phone calls. My case was complicated and he was very patient with me. I'm an R.N. and I notice every detail about doctor's & the care I receive. He is a dedicated doctor that cares about the patients that go to him for help. I highly recommend Dr. Klapholz.

If you want to experience everything that is wrong with health care in America, visit Dr. Klapholz office. His staff is so rude and doesn't care to be bothered by you. Get ready to wait for over an hour to see Dr. Klapholz in a room full of sick and impatient people. If you ask the staff they will say "you'll have to wait it's not our problem". Good luck if you think he'll remember you from your last visit. Get your prescription and he'll send you on your merry way after collecting insurance.
