Review of Archibald Roberts and a traumatic birth
This review has taken me a long time to write because I’ve tried hard to block the events surrounding the birth of my first child. Both my husband and I are healthcare professionals, which adds important context to our experience.I started seeing Sheena Harmon for gynecological care in 2022 and continued with her when I got pregnant in 2023. She was always kind, responsive, and respectful. However, as is typical, I eventually had to rotate through other OBs, and my experience with Archibald Roberts was deeply disappointing.During my pregnancy, Dr. Roberts dismissed my concerns about laboring in a position that would accommodate my history of SPD, insisting most of his patients deliver on their backs and that “he’s been doing this a long time.” I hoped he wouldn’t be on call when I went into labor—but unfortunately, he was.My labor progressed quickly, and upon arrival at the hospital, I was already 5 cm dilated. Throughout labor, the baby’s heart rate showed intermittent decelerat

Worst doctor ever. Doesn't care about the health of his patients. It's been 2 yrs since I had my baby and I still get angry thinking about my experience. My BP got elevated after having my baby and I was sent home with instructions to monitor. The next day I hit 180/100 so went back. While waiting in the room for him I heard his assistant tell him my BP and he said "what does she want me to do about it". Turns out I had post partum preeclampsia which I learned in the ER because he sent me home.

This guy is unbelievable. I’ve never had a gynecologist guininely care as much. He spent with me all the time needed. I wish so badly I would have found him 15 years ago. All those years of pain and misdiagnosis for my adenomyosis. Ladies, if you’re enduring extremely painful periods, do yourself a favor and get an MRI. You shouldn’t have to feel that way. Also, if you’re in the market for an impressive gynecologist, quit searching. You found him, Dr. Roberts.
