Dr. Arash Kermanshahi, MD

Dr. 'K' did my knee replacement over one year ago and it has healed brilliantly. He warned me that, even with the replacement, my knee would get stiff at times. It does if I don't exercise for a week or so. Swimming really helped with my after-surgery experience. He also said that I would occasionally feel a mechanical movement, which I have, but normally I don't notice that. I waited four hours after my original surgery time for my surgery. Dr. K came out of his previous surgery, explained why, and apologized. He was good at explaining everything and answering my questions. Only problems were months to get an appointment and months to get surgery. Also, because he is so busy, he can be hurried. However, if you ask questions, he will respond will full, evidence-based answers. I would highly recommend him. Kaiser staff was brilliant and kind.

He performed bilateral knee surgery on me very successfully. I don’t have any deformity now my bow knees have now straightened. He did an outstanding job He explains and listens and answered all my questions.He has excellent bedside manners and a very positive attitude. I would highly recommend him to others for all their orthopedic needs

Dr. Kermanshahi performed a full hip replacement on me. He has an excellent “bedside manner,” listens well, explains things well, did an outstanding job on the incision & stapling that other providers admired and he creates a very positive attitude among his staff. I would request him if I needed any other orthopedic procedure and I would definitely recommend him to others.

Dr. Kermanshahi performed two hip replacement surgeries on me within 3 months of each other. I am amazed at how quickly I recovered. He is an excellent doctor and the staff at Kaiser were amazing. I was really worried before I had the first surgery but after I had it, I was anxious to get the other one done. I would highly recommend Dr. Kermanshahi.
