Very compassionate and caring
I went to her for colposcopy and she and her nurse were very kind and informative as to what to expect. During the procedure she checked in on me constantly to make sure I was okay. The procedure ended with very minimal discomfort (a whole lot less than anticipated and Im sure its due to the doctor’s skill) and i felt very much in good hands the whole time. She alleviated a lot of my anxiety by being so informative. I tend to panic during these types of procedures and she and her nurse took such good care of me. My daughter told me to go to her because shes such a good doctor and my daughter is right. I don’t understand at all how anyone could give this competent doctor a negative review. I think she’s awesome.

Deliberate Miscare
Began seeing Dr. Valluru after my previous OB/GYN retired. My pelvic gloom physical therapist recommended a hymenectomy to continue with treatment and improve my ability to use a tampon or menstrual cup. Dr. Valluru was the Dr I went to for this. She refused to listen to me about my allergies and did not follow any of the warnings put in my charting. After the surgery I was in severe pain and could not stop vomiting. We could not figure out why as she told us she would not be using stitches. We tried to figure out pain medicine to manage it. She told my pharmacy I was a drug seeking addict. We found out from her office manager she uses stitches I was allergic to. I went to get them taken out she told me no Dr should have to read or follow my charting it was too hard. She proceeded to rip out my stitches without letting me take pain medicine. She was horrible and I would tell you to stay as far as way as possible.

I trust De Valluru!
Started seeing her mid2021. She is one of few that listened to me about the problems I had had for years! By the end of 2021, she performed 2 procedurea for me and I am feeling great! Her staff is also nice and friendly!

Visiting Dr. Vallaru felt like visiting a used car salesman. She was rude, condescending, and seemed focused solely on "upselling" procedures and rushing me to make a decision on the spot (rather than taking time to fully explain what options were available and giving me space to consider what was best for my health). I'll be looking for a new OB/GYN.

She seemed to be very competent and knowledgeable in her field, but her bedside manner is non-existent. I had to ask a ton of questions because she gave very little information and minimal details and half of her responses were in an annoyed tone or like my question was ridiculous. She kept asking me if I wanted to do X or Y without explaining the options to me or what it actually entailed. She said I was only refered to her to read my U/S multiple times and made it seem like it wasn't her responsibility to discuss the details of the diagnosis (which came from the U/S) to me. Not ideal for an OBGYN specialty and probably wouldn't be my first pick of MD if I were pregnant.

I recently had Salpingectomy surgery. Dr Valluru performed it. She did amazing! The incisions are so small and they don’t hurt! This is day two! I doubt the scars will even be noticeable, not that it matters. (I have a giant one from open heart surgery when I was three) I wanted to leave a review for her because I feel so blessed to have found her! I’m child free, have never wanted kids in my life. I see fertility as a burden. I don’t want to bring a kid into this dark world. I’d rather leave that spot available for someone who wants a kid dearly! Dr. Valluru listened to my needs! She didn’t second guess, didn’t say I’d change my mind, didn’t doubt my personal choice. She did make sure to tell me it’s not reversible which is understandable info to make known since some women change their mind. I will never change my mind. I want to be an awesome stepmom and aunt! I think she is a wonderful compassionate Doctor. I Feel so grateful!! Thank you!!!

The negative reviews on here are simply wrong. I’ve been to a lot of doctors and Dr Valluru was among the best. She was kind and gentle. She talked to me like a person and did not minimize my pain. She took her time and made sure all my questions were answered. Her nurse was great too. There was virtually no wait and I got in for an appointment quickly. I felt very confident that she knew what she was talking about. Her treatment plan was multifaceted and left me feeling heard. I couldn’t have asked for more.

Dr. Valluru knew that I had been sexually assaulted in the past and she did not treat me with empathy or compassion while examining me. I felt violated and she treated me rudely. Doctors should go through ethics training and she clearly does not know how to practice with consideration to ethics or to treating someone who has experienced trauma. I also know two women who had a labia reduction surgery with her and she destroyed their labias causing them to have painful sex and urination.

She can check ANY surgeries off her list. She IS NOT SKILLED NOT QUALIFIED. She completely amputated the right side of my vagina. This may not get a lawsuit because of laws that protect doctors - but she will be known for this. Anusha, you completely destroyed my sex drive. Completely mutilated my vagina because of your poor surgeon skills. You’re a gyno NOT a surgeon - quit lying to people.

Highly skilled, professional, and extremely caring in her treatment. Uses a " progressive methodology" in her approach to solving clinical problems. Should be rated much higher than you have documented. As a physician, I know good medical care when I see it. Nobody is better than this woman. Sundiata El-Amin, M.D. Sundiata El-Amin

Didnt respect my wishes of having my boyfriend in the room to tell me the results. Rude, told me my family physician was wrong, and I was on the wrong medicine. Argued with me and said that blood tests can't be false negative....my friend had four false negative blood tests.
