Negligent
My psychiatrist referred me to the field of Sleep Medicine for the diagnosis of Bipolar Insomnia. Dr. Tiwari spent only 10 minutes in the exam room, abruptly sending me to the Sleep Lab. She then diagnosed me with Obstructive Sleep Apnea and ordered a CPAP machine without reviewing the lab results with me. Over the phone, the lab technician mentioned that I was only on the 'cusp' of Sleep Apnea, which might make the CPAP machine unnecessary. At a follow-up appointment to check on CPAP usage, Dr. Tiwari came unprepared and, upon questioning, admitted that she was unqualified. I reported her to Livanta, Medicare's Quality-of-Care Department.

Very patient and thorough
Highly recommend Dr. Tiwari. She spent a great deal of time with my 82 year old father explaining results of tests and future care plan.
