Dr. Anukrati Shukla

Mid-way through the pandemic, I went in with a hernia and came out with a diagnosis of high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high triglycerides, and type 2 diabetes. Two years later, she encouraged me one appointment at a time to accept the diabetes diagnosis and by summer of 23, I was on a continuous glucose monitor which made it very clear to me that I was indeed a diabetic. Since then, with her guidance and care, I've lost 35 pounds, my numbers for all the things are well within the normal range and even my blood sugar 3-month measurement, A1C, was 5.5. Still the very high end of the norm but I continue living a healthy lifestyle to keep my diabetes in remission. She said it was 80% me and 20% the medication. She forgot that it was at least 75% her: without her vigilance and true concern for my health it is anyone's guess where my previous path would have taken me by now.

She is very knowledgeable and explains your care. Is really easy to talk too. Only Dr. That could get my condition under control in a very short time.

My doctor is very on top of it. She has read through my chart. She answers all of my questions truefully. She is very up front about my medical problems. [...].

I feel like I have to ask too many questions to reach the answers I need. Dr Shukla doesn't always explain well. She is, however, a kind listener.

Dr Shukla was very very good.
