Dr. Antronette McKenzie, MD

I feel fortunate to be a patient of Dr. McKenzie. She is caring and knowledgeable. Although wait times can be long, she never rushes through an exam. I recommend her to my family and friends.

Takes a long time to she her. Once you are in the room, she is VERY understanding, about your health.

The wait is usually long before you can see her, but I do understand. She takes a lot of time and listens to your concerns. She cares about you and very attentive toward your needs. She will make sure that your health concerns will be brought to the attention of an appropriate specialist if needed.

Only go to this doctor if you have all day with nothing else to do and don’t mind 5+ appointments at other places with other “specialists” for the next month. If she has to send you everywhere else then what does she do as a doctor ? Nothing. All she does is send you somewhere else - she treats nothing !!!! Changes meds the next month when you come in for your follow up so you will have to come back in yet another month when the ones you were on Initially were working fine !!! Her bedside manner is horrible - not friendly at all - seems to be only critical of everything you do or don’t do. I waited 2 hours and 10 minutes just to get in a room and then another hour before she came in to see me. Little over 3 hours just for a check up to get my medicine refilled. If it would have let me give 0 stars I would have.

Long wait to be seing; Dr. McKenzie doesn't give a good explanation and always responded with "don't know." Dr. McKenzie doesn't have a charismatic personality and if you looking to feel better, you will come out emotional worst from her care.

Excellent Doctor even do you make have a wait time due to the staffing. Overall good service at the Family Medical Center!

Been waiting 1 hr 20 minutes since my appointment to be seen. Still haven't been seen. Dont want to leave because I had to pay almost $100 to be checked in.

I been using Dr.Mckenzie for 24 years, my average wait time has been between 1.5 to 3 hours. So, At some point I started using urgent care clinic’s Which had me in & out with a prescription within 30 or 45 minutes. Patients should not be double, or triple book with the same appointment time’s.

Dr McKenzie cares about the patient. Very thorough and good at diagnosis and positive treatment results. Shares info and contacts patient with lab results. Schedule referrals promptly when necessary.
