Dr. Antony Lixon, MD

My visit with Dr. Lixon was great. Here's why. 1) He was genuinely interested in my health and welfare. That's my primary interest in a healthcare provider. I think I am good at spotting a poseur. He's the real deal. 2) He was very attentive and made constant eye contact to communicate effectively. Very important to know that your doctor is listening. 3) Emphasized the importance of wearing my CPAP machine. He wouldn't do that if he didn't are. 4) Concerned about the copay of my prescriptions and that I was getting the best price. 5) He addressed and corrected the air pressure with my CPAP machine immediately. The issue was corrected by the time that I got home from my appointment. 6) Just to reemphasize he was genuinely concerned about my health. To me, this is most important. I already know doctors have the education and experience, but not all doctors are able to show empathy and concern. I think it's primarily a time issue, but very important. Hope this helps someone out
