Unsanitary office w/ a Doctor who refuses to mask
02/02/2022 I took my immune compromised chemo patient mother in for cataract evaluation and surgery. We carry Lysol wipes everywhere we go, and when I wiped the arms of the reception room chair before my mom sat down, it was absolutely filthy. That dark, dingy, dated reception room probably hasn’t been cleaned since the 1980’s, and certainly hasn’t been cleaned per standard medical office protocols during a pandemic. Office staff was masked. When 02/02/2022 I Dr. Antonio Prado entered the room, he was unmasked, did not wash his hands and immediately shook my mom’s hand. I very politely told him she was in chemotherapy and immune compromised, and could he please wear a mask. HE REFUSED!!! I have never had a healthcare professional absolutely refuse to protect the patient with such a simple request. He did not wash his hands when he entered, nor when he left the room. Dr. Prado puts his personal beliefs and inflated self-image above his patients needs.

Receptionist was lacking people skills. I was finally called back. Every time I tried to talk to the Dr. Assistant I was cut off by her in mid sentence. I had to tell her to let me finish talking. Procedures weren't explained to me by her or the Doctor who examined me. I am very disappointed not to Get the respect I deserve. I was made to feel like I was interrupting their day!

Rude and unprofessional front desk, impossible to call and get a human on the phone. It took me 3 1/2 month to get scheduled appointment with doctor Prado and I ended up with optometrist instead, although my optometrist refeffered me to opthamologist DrPrado. Dr Prado's optometrist totally misdiagnosed me. I found this out from another eye speialist later. This office doesnot care about patients, only the money. Stay away from this office, do not recommend!

I had Cataract surgery and have multiple other health problems. Dr. Prado and staff were very considerate and made contingency set ups ,just in case I had a problem. Smoothest surgery I ever experienced. Thank you Dr. Prado ,staff and Surgery Center staff who were so attentive.

Worst doctor ever. I have a family member has been going to see him and he never can do anything for this patient. Unless you are financially well off or have an excellent insurance plan, you can expect to get the worst treatment. Doesn't really care about his patients or try to save their eye. horrible horrible
