Staff and Dr Parente were very professional and I look forward to my next visit.

I have been seeing Dr. Parenta for over 10 years for my annual checkups . Each visit has been thorough and he has always taken time to explain the results of tests and answer any concerns I might have. He has monitored my medications to control my blood pressure which remains in the 120 over 80 range. The one time he wasn't available for an appointment to meet my timeframe, another doctor in the Virginia Heart Group saw me and continued my excellent care. Dr. Parente also recommended other doctors for other issues and they were top of the line. Dr, Parente has my complete trust and receives my highest recommendation.

Dr. Parente makes patients feel comfortable and is very personable. He is a good listener, and answered all of my questions.

Dr. Parente is an excellent, caring cardiologist. He has performed several procedures for me. His work is flawless, and he communicates and listens well.

Every encounter I’ve ever had with Dr. Parente has been a pleasure, as even if things aren’t great with my health, he is reassuring and always offers hope and advice on how to make things better. I might add that after 11 years under his care, things have indeed gotten better. His intellect, humor and warm personality puts one at ease and instill confidence that one is dealing with an all round caring and capable individual. His colleagues - most particularly Lanna Smith - whom I’ve seen over the years, both in the hospital and in the office, also have reinforced a sense of trust in the entire practice. I feel very fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Parente & Virginia Heart from the VHC emergency room in 2013.

The six-month cardiology health checkup included EKG, BP (sitting, lying down, standing), and probing auestions by Dr. Parente. This is standard practice by this office and why I maintain Dr. Parente is #1.

Dr Parente is an exceptional physician who is extremely caring and professionally astute. He spends time with his patients and carefully explains the symptoms and recommended treatment. I am lucky to have him as my cardiologist.

Dr. Parente is an amazing doctor. Dr Parente had great bedside manners. There are no short cuts with him. He makes sure you have all the test you need before leaving his office. Thank you for such an amazing experience. Dr Parente is so punctual. My appointment time was at 1130 the nurse had me in the room at 1120 Dr was examining me at 1130 exactly.

Dr. Parente prepared himself to work with me ahead of time, so he came to my first office visit with thorough knowledge of my medical background. That was a super plus and lead to a very productive visit. His interest in my situation was keen and he gave me great advice and indicated proper follow up.
