Excellent experience and doctor
I am a yearly recipient of the doctor’s expertise. He has been very caring and takes his time to explain everything. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating. Have been his patient since moving into the area about 20 years ago.

I have been going to Dr. Iorfino for many years. I also had surgery for strabismus . The last visit was for dry eyes and was given eye drops which were very helpful. Lately I have blurred vision when wearing my eye glasses and see very well without them. Will try to get an appointment soon.

Called to get an appointment as I had moved to area and was told they didn’t take my insurance back in October. Changed insurance and called and was told they only do injections with certain medications. Checked back with my doctor in Maine and called back and was told they did these injections. By this time it was now February. They informed me they were booking out 2 months so I called again in May after getting the insurance and medication information and was told I needed a doctor referral. I than told my retinal specialist and physician and Dr Iorfino’s office tried to say they wouldn’t take my insurance. I called back after being told they did take this insurance. As of June the last straw was when now they tell me after jumping through all these hoops to get an appointment, the doctor is not taking new patients. I am so furious they put me through all this instead of telling me back in October they weren’t taking new patients. Very unprofessional. .

I had cataract surgery about three months ago performed by Dr Iorfino. One word--ECSTATIC!!! My vision has never been better! Dr Iorfino showed an immediate interest in my case, explaining in depth why my having had Lasik surgery 18 yrs ago presented unusual problems. I left with complete confidence and rightly so. My vision with glasses prior to surgery 20/40 left, 2050 right, astigmatism, cloudiness. reading 250-300. Now 20/20+, no reading glasses! HAPPY CAMPER!...

Dr. Iorfino is beyond superb. He has been my doctor for years, has done surgery, and is well worth the one-hour ride I take to reach his office. Dave Bowers

Takes Anthem insurance......but not the Vision portion included with your Anthem insurance for your child....and they won't go out of their way to point that out to you, you find out when you receive the bill. "They only take the health care portion"....so if your eye ball falls out....you are covered. The smug billing party was happy to confirm this for me....I could clearly tell they deal with these complaints regularly..they even have a pre-printed notice all ready to slide into your bill..

Excellent doctor. I have had 2 cataract surgeries done by Dr. Iorfino. A positive experience each time with an excellent outcome. Time in waiting room can vary. Sometimes there is no wait and sometimes up to 1/2 hour. It really depends on the immediate needs of his patients.

I've been forced to use this doctor, as he is the only one qualified to do my required procedure in the area in which I live, who also takes my insurance. I have waited in his waiting room for nearly an hour on a couple occasions, and never less than 30 minutes, without so much as the courtesy of being told how long the wait will be or an apology from his unfriendly staff. I have also routinely seen his staff eating lunch in the office, and have even seen a dog!
