Rude and does not listen
Dr. Richa walked in quickly and announced to me and my wife that if my suprapubic catheter needed a change he would transfer me to Downtown Baptist Jax instead from the Dunn Ave ER. Unacceptable behavior for a doctor to suddenly rush in before assessing the situation.

Dr. Anthony Richa should reconsider his profession
I went to Baptist Town Center ER this morning with symptoms of a bad upper respiratory infection - which is what I told him and the nurse. I got a breathing treatment which I expected. Then he fast talked me and said that because I was hoarse (I had post nasal drip the whole day before) I probably had a mass in my neck. He immediately ordered an ECG, bloodwork for a heart attack (my BP and heart labs were normal — I googled the labs), a magnesium medication that required a heart monitor (I adamantly refused), a CAT scan of my neck because he thought my tongue was swollen (no baseline! thus I adamantly refused), and a chest x-ray. I was swabbed for COVID, flu A & B, and RSV. I tested positive for COVID. He stomped off like a toddler because I stood up for myself and refused confusing tests. The “day” doctor came in at 7 am to discharge me with COVID instructions. I feel abused, mistreated, and disrespected by Anthony Richa. He should not be a doctor.

Surprised
He is rude and shows zero understanding I was shocked to have a bad experience in that place since I always had seen nice doctors before. He should understand more patients needs.

Saw this dr in the ER today for my sick child. This DR was RUDE! He was speed talking and giving instructions as he walked out the door and down the hallway. He literally was in the room 30 seconds and he was out of the door. Worst experience ever!
