I waited months to get into him. Based on reviews I thought he would help me with the problems I've been having. I was wrong. He didn't want to do blood work to get to the crux of what is happening with my thyroid, just prescribed more pills. Utterly disappointed.

I met with Dr. Pick at the suggestion of a Registered Dietitican at Northwestern-Lake Forest Hospital. I was amazed and intrigued by his knowledge and the time he took to go over my charts thru the hospitals my chart program. He listened and asked a number of to the point questions. He was interested in learning about me as a person. He explained my condition and the pros and cons of different treatments. Dr. Pick is down to earth and a "Caring Physican" interested in each persons health.

Never met the Doctor. He saw my daughter in hospital and wanted to get a follow up appt. I was very specific about day and time and was told someone would contact me within 2 business days. They claim they called but I never received a call and then they wanted to give me a different day or wait until December. SO MUCH FOR A FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENT. When a person works two jobs and has to drive the patient to 4 different doctors for follow-ups be a little more flexible. Terrible wait time on phone

Dr. Pick is super knowledgeable about thyroid disease and has a very personal approach to caring for his patients. I love that I have access to him when I have questions, concerns or need my meds. He always gets right back to me and is very attentive to what I need. He also spends a lot of time with me at office visits to make sure I understand everything. I think this type of medical practice is rare anymore and I appreciate being cared for as a patient not as a number. He's really great!

Highly recommended! Dr Pick listens! He explains things in a way that you can understand his reasoning. He is encouraging and genuinely wants to help you. He will always give you his 100% attention when he is with you. He will answer all your questions until you are completely satisfied. I was recommended to him by a friend and I am so glad I went to him. He is just a nice guy who cares.

My wife and I have both gone to Dr. Pick for many years. He's a good listener, is thoughtful and thorough. When my wife had some very complicated and interrelated health problems, he took the time to diagram out how each part affected the others and what medicines would help. He'll talk through the risk/benefit of doing or not doing a treatment option. I have trusted him with my life and, were it up to me, keep him as my doctor for a lifetime.
