Dr. Anthony McDowell, MD

This doctor saved my baby. The previous reviews either don't know what they're talking about, or are petty and can't handle hearing what they don't like to hear. I had an incredibly risky pregnancy with an IUD. When multiple OBGYNs shooed me away and denied me of the help I needed, this man welcomed me in and cared for me and my baby like a superhero. This is a man among men who will go above and beyond to consistently monitor your health and will patiently answer each and every question you have imaginable- without ever giving you an attitude. I'm not even christian and I'm screaming halleluja sisters

Dr. McDowell was horrible. He was incredibly rude and constantly talking over me. I tried to explain multiple times my experiences on different birth controls and how after choosing to stop taking oral birth control due to the negative side effects I was experiencing I gained a significant amount of weight. When informing him I only eat vegetarian, once a day and workout 3-4 times a week we refused to listen. I’ve been dieting since I was a kid and struggled with weight gain. He told me if he locked me in a concentration camp or put me in Ethiopia and starved me I would lose the weight. I left his office in tears when I was asking for help and to be heard. He a man, invalidated my entire experience of being a women and how horrible finding good care as been.

I’ve since had another child with another dr and I realize how horribly I was treated by Dr.Mcdowell. It was a nightmare delivery because of him.
