Absolutely LOVE Dr. Jennings! Very Caring Doctor!
Dr. Jennings is extremely compassionate, personable and truly cares about his patients! He is very familiar with my son and his care, despite having very complex and multiple medical conditions, returns calls promptly, even in the evening, we never wait to be scheduled for an appointment nor wait more than a few minutes when we go in for a visit with Dr. Jennings! He has spoken to my son's other specialists to answer their questions and ensure continuity of care, had to fill out multiple forms over the years, and never made me feel as if it was a bother. I really appreciate the extra time and effort he and his staff provide for my son and his care. Unlikely many professionals would be so willing to assist and take the time Dr. Jennings does, let alone a physician! Always appreciated!

Lost my Medical File
Kind, Patient Doctor, BUT lost my file so they had no info on me even though I've been a patient for over 10 years. Took blood and they can't find my results.

Do NOT go to this 'doctor'
Please do not waste your time and go to this doctor. He works by himself in the basement of a pharmacy, in an office that is extremely dark, dingy and old. He clearly doesn't know what he is doing, as he refused to actually listen to my problems or help me in any way. I did not feel like he heard me or wanted to help me at all. I was there to discuss a hormonal issue and all he wanted to talk about was my thyroid, which was perfectly fine at the time and not the problem at all. It was frustrating to drive 1.75 hours to see him and then have the appointment be such a disappointment. He also did not take notes when he was talking to me and he uses no computers in his office. He uses paper charts, but because he took no notes while I was talking with him, I'm not sure how or when he writes in those charts. His office staff was cold and mean and completely unhelpful. All-in-all it was a complete waste of time!!

He's Amazing
I've been seeing him for over 40yrs. He's always been very personable, caring and most of all on point with my care. He actually listens to your issues and goes from there. I definitely trust him with my life. I don't know where I would be without him.

I had been out of compliance for quite a while and needed to get my diabetes under control. I read the reviews first and was a bit apprehensive. Payment in cash, a non-updated basement office, what was I getting myself into? So happy I kept my appointment. Dr. Jennings is a competent professional. His knowledge as it relates to diabetes treatment is top notch. His manner is superb. He spends quality time with the patient and is genuinely concerned that the treatment actually fits the patient. He gave me lots of samples. If you are the kind of person who prefers glitz and glamour, form over function, shiny bells and whistles, then Dr. Jennings may not be for you. But if you want someone with loads of experience who can point you to quality treatment for your condition and is flexible enough to allow you to have a say in your care, then honestly I don’t think you can do better.

Years ago, I came down with a severely disabling post-viral fatigue syndrome, and I was bounced around among a variety of specialists in the search for answers. Of all the doctors I saw during that time, Dr. Jennings was by far the most compassionate and dedicated to trying to help me. In the end, he did not have answers for my condition, but I have remained, for 15 years, deeply grateful to him for his belief in me, his kindness, his dogged efforts on my behalf, and his deep concern for me as his patient. What a wonderful doctor and human being!

I have been going to Dr.Jennings since 2010. I honestly haven’t felt the need to transfer doctors until now. I had my blood work done a week ago, received my results from LabCorp and was told by the secretary “the dr is taking care of his own health and he will reach out to you sometime next week.” I am feeling like crap and need a medication adjustment. I can interpret my lab results and know the med I am on is not a high enough dose. I would not recommend seeing this practice anymore. -also, I called to schedule an appointment in April and was charged $170 as “an apt.” Will be disputing with my insurance company.

We have been seeing Dr. Jennings, for about 3 years now. After having bad experiences with endocrinologists who did not know the basics of information that I’ve been living with for years, and my own 16 year old daughter inheriting Hashimoto’s as well- I went on a serious search for a person who could help her. It was a blessing to find this man. His knowledge never disappoints me and he takes plenty of time to discuss your concerns. His manner put my sautés and myself at ease. It is well worth driving to him over 65 miles because there are few doctors like him. Another thing that I like is that he personally returns phone calls when blood tests return. His billing person, Joy, is wonderful- the most pleasant person to speak to when there is a billing question. Aside from that- this place is clean and well maintained. It is the basement of a pharmacy that is filled with sculptures and artwork. If you are in need of an endocrinologist, you won’t be sorry. They even take my insurance!

If you have thyroid issues and are just not feeling yourself, Jennings can probably help you, as he has helped me. I've been going to Jennings for many years. He is a doctor who actually takes the time to listen to your every word and does not rush you. He really is one of the best, and I've been to the best. Diagnosed with Graves Disease and treated.

Dr Jennings has been my endocrinologist since 2000. He has managed my hypothyroid through both of my pregnancies. His office is a little dated BUT his knowledge isn't. He greets you in the waiting room and sits and talks with you for a while. You never feel rushed ever. He draws his own lab work and does a full assement (including head to toe/ vitals). He is so knowlegable in metabolic disease. I'm an R.N. and this southern charm gem doctor is a dying breed. I recommend him to everyone.

Absolutely horrendous!! Do not waste your time or money here. He should have retired in the 70's. He is just buying his time out as a dr. The office is in the basement they are very unorganized and the equipment is from the 60's and everything is zip tied up or covered in duct tape. I was very sketched out being in his office and was very uncomfortable. When dr. Jennings when to draw my blood I asked to grab a new needle simply because I did not see him grab it. Very dirty place.

Had to have biopsy of thyroid and follow up. He did procedure in office. Very confident and very low stress because of his manner. Folowup bloodwork also done by him in office; He called me the next day with results and called in script to mypharmacy. I liked the fact that I didn't have to do a lot of running around. Also, have always had fear of bloodwork but he is so calming it is now no problem.

Dr. Jennings has a very soothing manner. He is soft-spoken but puts you immediately at ease. I've never been led into his presence because he personally comes out to greet me. Dr. Jennings takes his time to answer any questions and, of course, make his diagnosis with recommendations.
