Since another neurologist in Framingham said it was either due to a virus or an autoimmune condition, I pressed for more tests. I had a positive AMA, yet there was no diagnosis as to the cause, therefore there was no trmt, and I suffer DAILY with it and its getting worse!!! This started way before my A1c started to increase!!!! A1c is within range!!!

Dr. Izzo is a excellent doctor, never rushed me during our Appointments and listen to all my concerns. Along my 3 years being his patient we changed medications ( up and down dosages) and found my perfect dosage and mix of medication. I have nothing but excellent service from him and his staff. I highly recommend this practice.

I first saw him about a year and a half ago when he casually informed me that there is a specific medicine for my disease- that apparently many neurologists have never heard of despite it being around for a while. It took six months of fighting my insurance to approve it- something that Izzo and his team had no issue going to bat for me. And even when it was approved coverage- they tried taking the medicine away from me. To which I had to get a lawyer, and once again- Izzo and his team went to bat for me. Writing up several letters and lectures to the insurance to get it through their heads *she needs this medicine to have a chance at life*. Not once did they give up on me. Not once did they come off annoyed or burdened. They worked together to help me, and for the first time in my LIFE I a
