I went in the Friday after Thanksgiving with pain and a stuffed ear. Dr. Durante looked at it and thought there may be an infection and cleaned/flushed it out and determined there wasn't an infection. I woke up Saturday in pain and called and spoke to another Dr -- Dr. Moghaddassi, as the office was closed (although I wasn't told this by the service). The Dr. told me to put drops in that I had and if it's not better by Monday to come in as it's likely an infection. The pain continued and so I went in on Monday and sure enough I had an infection and Dr. Durante put a wick in and was told to continue the drops until Wednesday. What really got me is that they charged me another $75 co-pay for the Monday visit!!! So for $150 I was in pain for three days until I received the correct diagnosis. I've been going to Dr. Durante for many many years so was really shocked and totally disappointed that I was charged the second $75 co-pay. I think it may be time to look for another ENT.

Dr. Durante is excellent. He is a kind, very knowledgeable physician who takes the time to explain your problem, and gives you the tools you need to deal with it.

My son was seen by Dr. Durante for the first time yesterday for a gland issue. He performed a couple of tests on him and gave us a full explanation. He has a terrific bedside manner and really took his time explaining to my son what he needs to do. I highly recommend him.

After visiting several ENT's on Long Island, I felt very frustrated because none of them could diagnose the problems I was having with my ears. I had terrible bouts of vertigo, tinnitus, earaches and hearing loss. Dr. Durante diagnosed the problem and put me on the right medication on my first visit. My quality of life improved immensely after that visit. Dr. Durante took the time to listen to me. He and his staff are kind and professional.

He was thorough and listened and explained in detail what was my possible problem. He ordered a CT to make sure there was nothing unknown to worry about and scheduled a follow up after CT.
