Best of the Best
I'm almost 4 years late with this because I was unaware of this website. Dr. Chiu gave my anesthetic for back surgery. He was so superb, I was able to eat a full dinner a few hours after the surgery. I was quite alert and had no anesthesia hangover. Amazing!

I recently had surgery on which Dr. Chiu was the anesthesiologist. I was surprised when the day before surgery, he called to ask questions related to my care. Again, the next morning, he showed up in my hospital room when I was awaiting surgery to check in and say hello. I found him to be so caring and personable, and I felt reassured by these two contacts. I really appreciated these extra steps, especially now that much of medicine has become focused on the procedure rather than on the patient. I really like Dr. Chiu.
