The 5 stars are for the doctor. But back office medical assistants have extremely poor customer service skills. Patients don’t even get a “how are you, how’s your week been so far?” Being in the medical field and working with expecting moms should be worked by individuals that care. Or at least pretend to… geez. Some moms feel scared, others may have gone through a loss, or maybe they are excited. I feel like these emotions should be shared with the moms to be. Y’all make moms feel uncomfortable and out of respect for Dr. Chavez I don’t get out of line with you guys. Dr. Chavez you should try hiring staff that will show your patients that they care and that will make them feel comfortable and cared for. No type of friendliness is shown by your staff. They just always seem annoyed. If they don’t enjoy their job maybe find staff that would. I’m a medical assistant my self and this would not be tolearable by my MD.

Dr. Chavez delivered all 3 of my boys via c-section. He never rushed and always answered all my questions. I do agree with the wait time being longer than expected, but it never bothered me. Overall a great experience.

I came into the office June 6th 2018 I came in due to me being pregnant and several times I was asked what was the nature of my visit. Blood wk was done and was told to come back in 2 wks, upon leaving I requested vitamins-non given. Retuned for apptmt on 6-21 apptmt was at 11am, was told no ultrasound tec found. Finally, at 1pm my name was called, tech was very rude ultrasound lasted for 6 mins, no update to previous blood work, nor still vitamins not given and no followup date given.HORRIBLE

Dr. Chavez was very supportive of me, when I chose to attempt a TOL. I also love his midwife, Jane. They both are knowledgable about their profession and show a true willingness to give each mom, the birth they desire.

Dr Chavez delivered my baby girl April 2016. What I loved about him is he took his time with you never rushed answered all my questions. He always was very cautious with me, I was a high risk. The day of my delivery all the nurses at the hospital spoke very highly of him and what was very impressive to me was that they said he had delivered the most babies at TX Womens Hospital. I actually had switched Dr's when I came to him and I was 20 weeks, I was so very grateful I made that choice.

Absolutely the BEST doctor I've ever had. Loved him so much, he delivered all FOUR of my babies!! Highly reccomend him to anyone that's pregnant or planning to become pregnant... The wait can be pretty long sometime, but that's only when the doctor has to be called in for an emergency delivery. Who can plan those though?? Lol. Please look him up, and, they accept Medicaid!!! ???????????
