Dr. Thakkar is extraordinary, and I do not use words like that casually. Specifically: She is clearly brilliant (I'm a professor in a medical scientific field, so feel I am a critical judge in that regard); has exceptional listening and communication skills; is highly attendant, responsive and respectful of patient concerns and history; is Incredibly personable and empathetic. In my 62 years, It has been a rare occurrence to experience a physician with this Ideal constellation of strengths. VM is Incredibly fortunate to have such a physician on their team. She will be my go-to podiatrist (this is my first visit to one), and I will recommend her to anyone who is looking for a podiatrist. I am thankful for her care.

Dr. Thakkar cared for my father for a number of years due to Type 2 diabetes and neuropathy in his feet. She was incredibly kind and professional in her care.

She is great, after first visit she scheduled a MRI and got me a walking boot. Her nurse even pushed me to my car. I would recommend her anyday. She also is very good at explaining medical terms.
