Beware.
Frenkel is NOT a good choice, especially if you are pregnant or are planning to have a baby… especially a baby boy. Annie Frenkel did such a horrible job on my son’s circumcision it had to be redone when he was older. A heart breaking experience, especially knowing it didn’t have to be that way. Beware.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Terrible doctor!!
She never made me aware that I had strep before I went into labor. I also didn't have a doctor from the practice deliver my daughter.

BEWARE!!! The absurdly long wait in the waiting room is the least of the horrors with this practitioner unfortunately. I am truly shocked her license to practice has not been revoked YET. I came in for an emergency surgery, which she started in her office and then told me she realizes she doesn't have all of the equipment she needs, so she sent me home, driving myself, with SEVERE bleeding, crying in excrutiating pain, and with an incomplete surgery. She told me to schedule to continue with her coworker who had no openings for the next 2 months. I found another practice who got me in first thing the next day and completed the surgery before I got an infection from the open wound Annie left. On top of that, Annie never once reached out to see how I was doing or to try to get me into the ER or an emergency appt within her practice. I would never recommend her to anyone. Absolutely appalling behavior for a medical "professional."

She seemed disinterested and rushed through my appointment. She barely listened to my concerns and seemed more interested in getting me out of her office than in providing proper care. The diagnosis she gave me didn't match my symptoms, and the treatment she prescribed had no effect. I left feeling frustrated and unheard. I would not recommend her to anyone.

She is indifferent, lazy and unapologetic. I begged for my test results for three weeks. After numerous pleading and phone calls, including a call to Northwell corporate, she called with the results. Unexcusable.

Do not recommend. Recently went through a miscarriage had absolutely no guidance nor check ins from dr or nurses to even check in on me to see how i was doing. Told to go to planned parenthood to finish my miscarriage out. No bedside care. Also can never get ahold of anyone in the office and when you can it's days for someone to return a call. When you go through a tramatic event like that you would expect your OB to show some empathy instead they say " it's common and happens everyday". Will not be returning for future visits.

Worst Experience Ever
I was in for my first pap smear ever early summer 2022. I had abnormal growth in my results and she ended up telling me it could be cancer but that she would run tests to determine what it was and get back ti me within two weeks. I was also prescribed birth control at the same appt. Two weeks later, i still didn’t have my results back. I called multiple times each day for an extra two weeks and finally got my test results back. Thankfully they came back clear and okay but I was having major anxiety for a month over my health. At the same time, i was trying to get my birth control switched because it was making me so sick. Both situations were handled terribly buy her and the staff at the front desk. I will never be going to her again.

She was my Angel for delivering my twins naturally unmedicated!!! Amazing birthing experience! She’s the doc you want in your corner especially when giving birth! My favorite part about her for all 3 of my pregnancies was how she never ever made me worry and her demeanor always gave me a ton of confidence in myself and her as my doc!

DO NOT let them schedule you in the Woodmere location, this is my second time here and the last two times the wait time in average was 2.5 hours. No one will help or even tell you how long the wait is or how many ppl are waiting already. I called her office (bellmore) and was told she is in a different office and they don't know the wait time; I called the temporary office and was told I need to call her office she is not a doctor here just using their space. It is extremely frustrating. I'm almost 9 months pregnant and had to sit in the car for 2.5 hours and trying to call any number to just get an estimate on the wait time.

Dr Frenkel was the worst Dr i have been to. The office staff were rude and it was impossible to get anyone on the phone. I was told I need a procedure in the hallway next to the patient bathroom ! The wait times for appointments are close to 2 hours because she overbooks appointments. They whole staff lacked empathy and do not follow up.

A few years ago, when searching for a new doctor, my daughter referred me to Dr. Frenkel. She is a wonderful doctor. I appreciate her professionalism as well as her genuine, caring manner. I would highly recommend her.

I found my entire experience with Dr. Frenkel to be very pleasant. Her staff was very warm and friendly, my wait time was minimal (maybe 10 minutes in the waiting room and 15 in the examining room before the doctor came in), and my overall experience with Dr. Frenkel was very positive. I did not feel rushed at all ( which has generally been my experience with other gynecologists). She was patient, informative, made me feel very comfortable and answered all my questions thoroughly.

Dr. Frenkel is by far the most caring and personable MD I have met. I transferred to her at 26 weeks pregnant and have been very satisfied with her care ever since- maybe the best decision I've ever made! She is very evidence-based in her care but at the same time very practical and sensitive to her patients- a rare combination in doctors! She really took the time to get to know me (and my husband). She makes herself readily available for her patients and is pretty quick to respond to emails, ev
