Dr. Anne Zhuang, MD

The whole scary process, not knowing what was in store with my Mohs surgery, was made much easier with Dr. Zhuang. I told her my concerns, she listened and was very reassuring and professional. I’m still in the healing process but so far I’m happy with the results. I even received a phone call to see how I was doing, just a great doctor.

My wife consulted Dr Zhuang for treatment of burn scars. She spent less than 5 minutes discussing her conditions and prescribed a skin lightening cream. She didn't bother to tell us that there is a chance of allergic reaction which can result in worse scars. She did not recommend doing a patch test on skin being a dermatologist. She also told us that if any scars remained, those could be later treated by laser treatment. Within two days of applying the prescribed cream, my wife's skin started to blister. We tried frantically to contact the doctor bt she didn't return our call. After much pleading her assistant called my wife but was evasive on most of the question. After much stalling, the doctor reluctantly talked to my wife and prescribed another medicine for blisters but again didn't talk about any possible side effects even after asking. Now she is saying that scar may worsen and may last longer. She also changed her tune on possible laser treatment that it will not work.

Dr Zhuang is a wonderful Dermatologist. I found her through Laser and Skin Surgery Center of Sacramento and I am very pleased with the cosmetic results of her skill. She is patient and very much cares about her clients needs. She is never in a rush. And most important to me she explains what she is going to do and never does anything unless your on board with it. Her communication skills are top notch!

I saw Dr. Zhuang at an office in Mill Valley California where she practiced for a short time. I found her to be very thorough, very professional and was distressed to learn she has left the practice. She performed a MOHS procedure on me with excellent results. I highly recommend her for her sincerity, professional demeanor, thoroughness and skill. I cannot comment on the questions relating to her current office because I am not a patient there.
