Dr. Anne Zaki, MD

EVERYTHING WAS GREAT, STAFF PREPARATION,SURGERY FOLLOW UP. SHE EXPLAINED IN DETAIL ALL STEPS TO BE TAKEN

My 88 year old dad had his cataract surgery done by Dr. Zaki. We went in for a follow up appointment because he has been having blurry vision. The assistant told me to wait in the waiting room and they'd call me in once the doctor could see him. They never called me in and he couldn't answer any questions because of his Alzheimers. Once he came out he had no paperwork and no recollection of the appointment. I asked to speak to the doctor but they said she was in clinic and couldn't see me. A different assistant took me to a small room and explained some of the notes. I asked her if she wanted the medication updated and she didn't seem to care and didn't ask for dosage. She didn't update the notes with his readers getting a stronger lens. She never apologized for not calling me in like they promised and basically just read the notes to me and made me feel stupid and like I was wasting her time.

My husband and I feel that Dr Anne Zaki is a very professional and knowledgeable eye doctor We highly recommend her. However her front desk staff are totally unprofessional. Burping out loud, laughing and socializing instead of noticing their patients standing at the window waiting to be checked in. We are sure that Dr Zaki would not be happy with their antics

She seems very astute and tried very hard to help Her office however, appears poorly run and wait times are very long.

Dr Zaki is wonderful. Thorough and personable. She did an amazing job with my cataract surgery. The lenses she recommended were not covered by Medicare but they are remarkable. Her Peoria office is very busy and crowded. She opened up her new Sun City West office in late 2019. It is newer and should be less crowded when I visit her this fall. I strongly recommend her.

Very thorough and took the time to explain everything about my eyes with a course of action.

I haven’t had a chance to see if my medical care is good but if you come here plan to spend 2-3 hours in the waiting room

This is a follow up review for Dr. Zaki that was written approximately March of 2017. The issue that was a problem was reviewed and rectified by a personal phone call from Dr. Zaki. Dr. Zaki only became aware of the problem 6 months after the fact but immediately took the time to call me and apologized for the issue. I was so happy to hear from her as I knew that being the professional that she is, that she would never have let this situation happen.Thank you for your excellent treatment.

I had macular hole surgery and cataract surgery after. Twice. Dr. Zaki did the follow ups and was very thorough in her work and her explanations. I have now followed her to her new practice. My husband also is impressed with her professionalism and knowledge.
