Good Primary Care physician
Anne Whitworth has been my physician for many years. Anne always takes the time to listen, no matter how busy her day. She keeps an eye on preventive care needs, and has a comprehensive understanding of primary care issues. Referrals are made when needed, tests are ordered to address concerns, and follow up is good. When I have a medical issue, I’m confident Anne will provide appropriate care and referrals if needed. I trust her judgement and recommendations.

As a primary, she’s good at filling scripts and writing referrals, however, I would caution against going to her for OB care. I chose her because of terrible experiences with St Lukes OB as well as their reputation for forcing csections. My pregnancy was uneventful until at 36 weeks she decided she didn’t know how to deliver my baby, so I was forced to switch my ‘care’ at the last minute to an OB I had never seen before who, of course, forced a cesarean. Dr. Whitworth lied to me and said I would be given my baby in the OR. This did not happen. Instead of holding my newborn child, SHE was talking to him, looking into his eyes, and handling him before me. When later asked what happened she said: I don’t know, I guess the protocol failed. No, doctor, I trusted you and YOU failed to be honest about your skill level, your ability to deliver a baby, and on being given my baby! She stole the most important moment of my life from me. Do NOT trust these people, now matter how nice they act.
