Asked for a referral for cardiologist. She refused stating that a cardiologist couldn't do any more than what she was doing even though my husband's heart rate was consistently over 130 and his blood pressure was running 200's over high 100's. He had a stroke within 2 months of his last visit with her.

Good listener, investigator, and care manager
Dr Venable was a superlative professional at patient interaction and investigation and care for patients. She was my primary care physician for around 4 years--the best overall doctor so far in my 50+ year life.
