Kind, informative, proactive Dr
If you are looking for a doctor that actually wants to take care of you and that is proactive about asking about your complete health and making recommendations on things that can help, Dr. Turcea is the one. She is so friendly and relatable. She makes it easy to talk about health issues. She is proactive about helping with perimenopause and menopause. It's easy to see that she wants her patients to thrive at all ages. I am very happy to have her as my new doctor.I was also impressed with Women's Care of the Commonwealth in general. Women of all ages are represented in their decor. There was helpful information posted about what mental health and wellness services are available, including a photo and name for the practitioner that can help. Many places make patients do the heavy lifting of having to bring up tough topics, or never really knowing what services are offered. For folks with these needs, having to ask for help can be a huge barrier. By taking the first step toward making

She is a great doctor
There is no beating around the bush. She is a honest great doctor. She will always answer any questions. She actually spends time with the visit if needed but doesn’t time you up half the day for an appointment. I have not waited more than 15 mins in her waiting room. And only once when she was tied up at the hospital. She is a good person.

Dr. Turcea was my OB-GYN & also did bladder & uterine prolapse repair surgeries for me. She was patient, professional, gentle & kind. She thoroughly explained my options, listened to my concerns & laughed & even cried with me as I told her my story. It is not possible for you to find a better doctor. She loves her job and it shows in her excellent care of her patients.

Dr. Turcea is very personable. She will answer any questions she can. However, Ephraim McDowell Facilities are quick to prescribe medication without seeing the patient and assessing their needs. I feel as Dr. Turcea has conformed like most other doctors under Ephraim McDowell. She is a great doctor but is very busy.

I Love Dr. Turcea. I just have yearly visits with her for maintenance pap smears and she is wonderful. I did have an irritation once and she got me right in, really eased my concerns and she is just down to earth. She makes you feel at ease, even though this type of procedure is not someone just get really excited about and want to do. Kudos to Dr. Turcea and her staff. Would recommend to anyone.

The nurses and staff are rude, condescending and argumentative. They refused to see me when I was bleeding during pregnancy. They wouldn't see me when I had a bladder infection. They didn't allow husband to record the ultrasound. Very cold and impersonal office.
