Dr. Anne Bennett, MD

First off, Dr Bennett’s bedside manner was atrocious. I would’ve rather received care from a robot. Second, she identified a ton of serious issues but didnt treat any of them. In past ER experiences, this would’ve led to admission to the hospital. I left in more pain & more confused than when I went to the VHC ER. At least now I know what issues to have qualified specialists address because Dr. Bennett didn’t seem interested in addressing anything. I understand she’s not qualified to address them, but she didn’t even give me advice or medication to temporarily manage the conditions. I came to the ER because I was in emergency pain. I’m leaving in the same amount of pain. Stay away from VHC ER!!!

Dr . Bennett saved my life. She is the best doctor in Virginia Hospital Center. I was suffering from sciatic nerve pinch. She is amazing. Thank you Dr. Bennett!!! Keep it up!!! Can’t find the words to say Thank you!!!AT

Unfortunately, I had a horrendous experience fairly recently with Dr. Bennett while in in the ER at VHC. Same issue as the patient above described — I could not breathe and was misdiagnosed. Instead of practicing medicine, Dr. Bennett practices passing judgment and opinion upon her patients. Wielding her power and lecturing them - when she should be administering medical care,: with kindness, dignity and respect. Probably suffered oxygen deprivation. I am not rebounding or mending well after this nightmare of an experience. Instead of opinions — how about a medical diagnosis based in fact or what the majority of test results conclude en lieu of life- threatening misdiagnoses? … .

Dr. Bennet saved my life when I went to VHC ER recently thinking I was having a heart attack and suffered a cardiac arrest right after I arrived there. She is a great doctor!

Horrible experience with Dr Bennett and the careless nurse practitioner at Virginia Hospital Center Emergency care. I came in on Thursday struggling to breathe with rapid heartbeat due to panic from not breathing. Not only did the nurse fail to direct me step-by-step through my first time in the ER, I had more than an hour delay in testing because of the nurse’s neglect. After a battery of heart and lung tests, I finally saw Dr Bennett, who did not fully or thoughtfully explain my test results. Instead, Dr Bennett gave me a vague diagnosis and sent me on my way. I felt rushed out, still unable to breathe. The next day, I desperately made an unscheduled visit to my family practitioner, who immediately diagnosed me with having an asthma attack. Along with the lack of empathy shown to me at VHC Emergency, I would not trust Dr Bennett if she is unable to recognize something so common as asthma in an emergency patient. VHC Emergency Care falls below average expectations.

I saw yesterday in the TV program giving birth to the baby.
