Dr. Anna Maio, MD

I followed her from another practice and obviously appreciate her attentiveness and compassion. The environment at Think Whole Person Healthcare certainly facilitated that type of care. Her care and inquiry into my well-being was comforting. Her ideas and suggestions were relevant and helpful. I appreciate her so much and will miss seeing her since she is retiring. She will be hard to replace. Thanks Dr. Maio

I have seen Dr. Maio for a few years now. She has helped me through a couple of health scares. She and her staff are always kind and she endeavors to understand my concerns, so she can address them. She is wonderfully focused on providing care that meets my needs physically and mentally. I have only had exceptional experiences with her.

Perfect blood work, but I’m overweight and she wanted to prescribe weight loss drugs. I wanted meds to help with my anxiety and she said to use positive thinking.

Grumpy angry bedside manner. Never diagnosed any medical conditions. Referred to other doctors. Not knowledgeable about drugs prescribed, side effects or drug interactions. Very rushed.

I appreciated Dr. Maio's wisdom and counsel. Her geniune support and desrire to help me get all presented concerns treated was very much appreciated. I felt I was apart of process in the treatment planning. I will continue to see her for my care.

Dr. Maio has okay bedside manner but is a terrible doctor. Since I am young she automatically thought that my symptoms are anxiety-related. After going to her multiple times with serious symptoms all I was told was that "your blood work is fine, you're young. It is your anxiety, etc etc" BS after finally moving to another doctor I was diagnosed with two separate conditions. I even brought up what my suspicions were about one of my conditions but she immediately told me that I couldn't have that condition because I didn't weigh enough... That is like saying that a skinny person can't have Type-1. Skinny people can have PCOS Dr. Maio. She also dismissed serious eye problems that I was having. Worst doctor ever. She constantly made me feel like my symptoms were invalid.

Dr Maio always has time for me no matter if it is on the phone or in person. She is knowledgeable, kind and has a great sense of humor. I trust her with my life.

Dr. Maio acted like I was a sub par human, and that my concerns weren't worth even listening to for more than 2 minutes. I asked for recommendations and was completely ignored. After the 2 minute whirlwind of an appointment, I listened to Dr. Maio and two nurses complain about their patients. Utterly and disgustingly disappointed, and would not recommend this doctor to my worst enemy.

My exp. with doctor Maoi was not great. I have had some insect bites on my body and I explained it on phone while I booked the appointment. She came in for less than 5 mins and she did not even care to look at all the marks & referred me to dermatology & prescribed a strong steroid creme. Why did not they ask me to visit the dermtlgy in the 1st place. She prescribed Benadryl to get over with itchiness. Don't know why. She couldn't even answer if the marks look like insect bites or something else

I have been a patient of Dr. Anna Maio's for many, many years. She is brilliant, competent & has a great bedside manner. Throughout the years I am assured that she knows my health history, needs & always allows me my will to live. She spends as much time as she can during a visit. Total trust in this Doc.

Dr. Maio is an amazing Dr. She always takes he time to listen and she never judges. She made me feel like I was talking to a friend! I recommend anyone to see her as she is the best! I can't thank her enough for being my Dr. she is so easy to relate too.
