Dr. Anjana Mathur, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Mathur for about four years. I've had more that my fair share of experience dealing with doctors and doctor's offices, and I have found Dr. Mathur to be knowledgeable, kind and genuinely interested in me and my care. I never feel that I'm on an assembly line to get in and get out. This office runs on time, and Dr. Mathur gives me her time. She answers questions and she listens. The office is immaculate, and the office staff is very pleasant and efficient. I like Dr. Mathur, and more importantly, I trust her.

Dr Mather is very professional. My appointments are on time and she answers all my questions. I use the patient portal and I always get an answer. With the Covid19 I have had two virtual appointment which work out well. What a great job. Office staff is also easy to talk to.

I have been a patient of Dr Mathur’s for over 10 years. The office staff is friendly and efficient. The doctor is knowledgeable and personable. I never have to wait long to see the doctor and they always get me in same day. I love that the office takes credit and debit and works with my insurance. The doctor and staff are always there for all my medical needs.

I recently had a follow visit from the Hospital with my primary care doctor. I Was recently diagnosed with High blood pressure after going into AFIB and was very scared and confused on what my next steps after leaving the hospital where. Doctor Mathur staff was friendly and very helpful and got me in to see the doctor immediately. Once I was in the office I didn’t have long to wait before seeing the doctor and she took the time to explained everything I needed to know and gave me a through exam. She received all my testing from the hospital and reviewed it with me at my visit. The staff help me find locals specialist to schedule my follow up visits, and took the time to answer all my questions about insurance and follow ups. I left the office feeling more confident and knowledgeable on my diagnosis.

My new PCP to the last 6 months or so she prescribed a stop smoking patch and after the 1st month would not renew it. I had an appointment to see her but that didn't seem to matter so therefore my insurance company will no longer pay for it and I would have to pay out of pocket which is a very very large expense to me And because of her decision I have to wait another year before my insurance will pay for it again. This is sad but true.

I asked the doctor to fill out paperwork for a doctor that evaluates patients and prescribes medical marijuana. She refused. The tone was combative and she treated me like I was asking her to deal drugs. I then heard her complain to the receptionist about me owing $55. They don't have the ability to take debit cards and I kept forgetting cash.

Doctor Mathur herself is very nice, but her receptionist (or whoever picks up the phone) is very unprofessional and accused me my husband of lying. My husband went to see Dr. Mathur for a referral. He asked the receptionist to send the referral to the dermatologist he will be seeing. My husband gave the receptionist all the information, the receptionist forgot to send the referral and we got a very high bill from the dermatologist (for my insurance you need have a referral to a specialist otherwise they charge you the full visit cost). When I called the office she basically said we never asked for a referral and that we are lying. Furthermore, she did not let us speak to anybody else, claiming she is the manager and there is nothing she can do. I am so upset and just got off the phone with my insurance company. I switched mine and my husbands primary care physician.

Very efficient and her staff. Been going for a few years now. Never had s problem. Everyone is always kind and welcoming. Always concerned .Has always taken care of my needs. It is a pleasure going here.

I have been seeing Dr. Mathur for 7 years and I love her caring and sensitive nature. She has a great sense of humor and listens to all of my concerns.

I, without any hesitation, would absolutely recommend Doctor Mathur for your primary care doctor. She is passionate, a wonderful listener, and exceeds her expectations for your well being. In addition, she has a wonderful staff, who consistently does above and beyond to take care of your concerns.
