The stars given are for Dr. Wilburn’s PA, Elise Holden. Elise is empathetic and caring, provides amazing service. If I could just be her patient and not Dr Wilborn’s, I would not be changing offices. I have switched PCP’s, Dr Wilborn is thorough and I am not disputing her knowledge as a physician. She is well educated and knows her stuff. However, conversations with her have come across as condescending more than once. And I’ve had multiple issues with the front office staff canceling & rescheduling without notifying me. I told myself I would give it one more chance and also be open to Dr Wilborn based on how the visit conversations would go, but the visit never happened because no one from the front office bothered to call me to tell me she wouldn’t be in that day and then I would have to reschedule . Painful, especially the patient portal online shows the appointment is active and sent me reminders to show up… just to be turned away. visiting a doctor shouldn’t be this complicated.

I've been looking for a new primary care physician, and a friend strongly suggested Dr. Anita Wilborn. I never saw her so I will never know how good she really is. This was my first visit and the front desk clerk was so condescending and rude that I will never return. She canceled my appointment, while I was checking in, because I had not completed the new patient paperwork online. I explained that I had not received the paperwork and offered to complete everything during my visit. She said NO because it's all electronic and they don't have paperwork to give me. She offered to reschedule my appointment but I said no thank you. One thing I will not do is pay you to treat me badly. As the face of this doctor's office, the rude desk clerk was my first impression of what I would experience as a regular patient. I will never go back nor refer anyone to this doctor's office. DO NOT subject yourself to bad customer service. Needless to say, my search for a primary care physician continues.

I am currently looking for a new doctor and wished that a year ago I could have seen more accurate reviews about Dr. Wilborn. I had several concerns as a patient. My first concern was with the bruises on my legs, I told her I think that I could be anemic. She immediately shut down that idea and said there's no way... before even reviewing the blood work. While discussing my anxiety and depression, she immediately shamed me for not taking any medication. After the blood results, I returned for the follow up. As I suspected, I had an iron deficiency. She told me to take iron. I thought it would be a normal question to ask about the intake amount. She made me feel dumb and said to take whatever it says on the bottle. She also then stated that the blood results reported that I have HSV-1 (most people have this and don't know). I spoke to another Dr. and the medical guidelines don't recommend testing unless symptomatic, which I wasn't, because it can cause unnecessary stress. I could go on

Was rescheduled 3 times before actually getting in poor service

My first appointment needed to be rescheduled, which was easy to do. The office and nurse staff were very pleasant and Dr. Wilburn was also very warm and professional. I look forward to having her as my primary physician.

Dr. Wilborn spends the necessary time and effort to answer her patients questions and concerns. Her staff is always friendly and service focused. I highly recommend here as a primary care doctor.

I have been a patient since July 29th, 2008. My family has a long history of heart problems. I knew I was suffering the same fate but chose to ignore it. Then one day , I could not ignore it any longer. I was in constant discomfort and chose Dr. Wilborn from my Insurance Provider's list. I get an appointment that afternoon. I tell her my family history, she immediately gives me an EKG. I am suffering ANOTHER heart attack. I am sent to the emergency room and am in ICU and the hospital for over 2 weeks. SHE SAVED MY LIFE ! She is my trusted Primary Care Physician . I still see her every six months. She treats the whole person and makes it easy to discuss any issue. We discuss lifestyle choices and alternatives. I feel she really cares about ME. Her staff has always been great and treat me as a valued person. After thirteen years , I am absolutely sure that Dr. Wilborn was meant to be my Doctor. I value her advice and trust her judgement. I HIGHLY recommend her.

Dr.Wilborn is the sweetest doctor ever. She is very professional and caring. She made me feel very comfortable. She actually listens to her patient without judgement. The whole staff is amazing. I really enjoy my visit with her, the wait was not long, office was nice and clean. Best doctor!!!!

Dr. Wilborn had been our family physician for over 10 years, she is knowledgeable and good at explaining things, we also like her friendly and helpful staff. And unlike most doctors offices, they usually run on time.

Yesterday was my first time I had an appointment with Doctor Wilborn. She was recommended by my Wife. Everything was excellent. Especially important to me is my time and I did not have to wait past my appointment time.

I have trust and confidence in her diagnosis and treatment. I feel my needs and time are well spent when I see her for an appointment or a phone conversation about a medical concern. I would recommend her to anyone to be their physician.

Dr. Is extremely kind & listens

The office is amazing! I called 2 hours before closing and they gave me an appointment on the same day due to my extremely high blood pressure. Dr Wilborn is very kind and listens to your concerns before commenting. I love this office!!!! The office staff has an awesome attitude towards patients!

Dr Wilborn was recommended to me by my sister who was a patient of hers for just a few months. I was extremely impressed with her knowledge and experience but most of all, she listened and addressed all of my concerns and honestly, I had many!.. She really understands that a patient needs to understand his/her particular condition in order to be able to work with her in order to get well. She does a thorough physical unlike other doctors who don't even touch you, listen to your heart or lungs, but just order blood work and then there is no follow-up. She really cares about her patients and truly is a credit to the medical profession.
