I am very fond of Dr. Anita Smith. She takes time to know her patients, asks the right questions and does not overprescribe services or referrals out unless truly necessary. She isn’t dramatic about my weight or diet. I don’t need lectures and she doesn’t lecture. : )

I am so very thankful to have found Dr. Smith. She truly takes the time to get to know her patients and cares about their health - both mental and physical. She is compassionate and provides excellent bedside manner. I have recommended her to several friends and family members.

I have never been treated with such disrespect by a medical facility before. I attempted to schedule with this office twice and both times 2 hours before my appointment I was canceled. I called today to try to reschedule. The receptionist informs me I would not be able to reschedule because I had canceled my appointment twice. I said you canceled me. She said yes because the Doctor had surgery. I said so that’s not my fault. She said we tried to contact you to reschedule but you hung up. I said I know because I was on hold for 10 minutes. I told her I wanted to talk to the manager, and she said this was the managers decision. Yes I did hang up after being on hold for 10 minutes. Because I am a Registered Nurse and working in the PACU and and was calling from the Nurses station. I dont have an infinite amount of time to wait? As a soon to be Nurse Practitioner I will not forget the behavior of this office and will ensure my staff does not act in such an unprofessional manor.

I have been seeing Dr. Smith for over 10 years and she is wonderful. She listens and actually tries to figure out what is wrong with you. I always make my appointments in the morning and I never have to wait. The receptionist is friendly and the team is helpful. I would highly recommend Dr. Smith.

I am new to the Atlanta area and had seen good reviews. It is very hard to move across the country and have to start all over with Drs. I explained to the very rude receptionist that I am in quite a bit of pain with a hip issue and she told me it would be December to get an appointment. It is unfortunate this practice is very unwelcoming and lacks empathy.

Family went to Dr. Smith, disappointed, I s/h listened. Apparently bad reviews get you quick appt now days. MD takes too many notes, are we research rather than health healing concern. Sad the receptionist told us to find another primary MD, I said are you sure ! And thought does Cigna need this MD on their team:( Never had this happen before! You expect long waits but then to get little attention to health is more concerning. Be sure to check ALL your options first!
