She was great!
We saw Dr. sheth for my 2.5 year old’s eczema and she was kind, quick, and explained everything thoroughly. I was nervous after reading these reviews but honestly there was nothing to worry about. I’d be completely comfortable returning anytime.

The nurse was fantastic but that was the only bright spot in a terrible visit. I wish I would have read these reviews first!! Absolute waste of time!! I’m surprised she is still employed with one horrible review after another!

Seriously. Find a different doctor
I can’t think of a time where I’ve left a doctor’s office so upset. Especially to be a PEDIATRIC dermatologist, I did not expect what I got. I should’ve looked at reviews before making this appointment. The nurse was amazing, nice, inviting and listening to my concerns. I got the complete opposite from the doctor. She was condescending, cut me off multiple times, and wasn’t there to treat. I thought maybe she’s having a bad day and something told me to look her up…maybe this was an off day…I’m guessing it was not based on others having the same experience. She lacked knowledge or suggestions for most of my questions. The print out and Google was more helpful than talking to her. She was quick to prescribe a couple options and ask us to come back. I understand that not everything will have a cure and she might do this everyday but her patients and parents of patients do not. Some compassion and bedside manner would go a long way.Her availability is great and there is a reason why

Terrible
She would get a 0 star if, she is terrible. Do not go to her, find someone else. She is horrendous. She walked into our appointment with a grimace on her face and was combative from the start. My son initially saw her when he was 15 (he is now 18) for acne and hadn't been able to return. She was indignant and accusatory as to why we hadn't done a 3-month follow-up when he was 15 and essentially wanted to write us off. I called her out about her very terrible bedside manners and she then 'softened' a bit. We brought up a 2nd scalp anhair condition and she essentially had no input and kept saying well if he uses chemicals or treatments like a perm this is what happens. I told her...no he doesn't do any of that and she had no initial ideas, no specialist referral...until she saw I wasn't leaving without her giving something. She suggested an oil...This was a very unacceptable appointment, especially trying to show my 18-year-old how to transition into adulthood and take control

Rude!
Such a rude lady! The second she walked in I felt like we were annoying her. She was rushed and I felt like she was annoyed I was asking questions. I was in the office because my son has a terrible skin infection that won’t clear up and is getting worse. I explained what had been going on and medication he’s already been on, that have not worked. I also told her I was having issue with his daycare because they keep thinking its a contagious virus. She told me she couldn't tell me if is was contagious or don’t because she didn’t know what it is and gave me medication for him that he has already been on that did nothing for him! Waste of my time I will never go back to see this Dr ever again! Do yourself a favor and wait longer to see another dermatologist.

Incompetent!
My sons doctor referred us to her as a specialist to check out my son who has had a series of rashes ongoing for awhile. I felt she rushed his examination and gave a general diagnosis. I got more information from Google than i did from her. A complete waste of time. When I questioned her diagnosis she couldn’t give me any specific information or a basis for her diagnosis. As a professional, she came off very incompetent. I’ll be discussing with my sons primary doctor my dissatisfaction with his referral. If you see this, find another provider. Don’t waste your time. We are not all lying!

My daughter had been suffering with severe acne for years. We had tried everything. During our first visit with Dr Sheth, she prescribed a regimen that cleared up my daughters acne in three months! I was very impressed. Just follow her recommendations and trust the process

Are all these ONE ratings real? Is this accurate?
Let me get down to it. If you are reading this page you are probably (1) trying to figure out if you should go to this doctor or (2) trying to make sense as to what just happened after seeing this doctor. Let me save you time. EVERYTHING that is being said about this woman is true. Zero EQ, totally ineffective, unkind, waste of money and hand down the worst doctor I have every encountered. These reviews are not exaggerated. In fact, they were sadly very affirming of my experience. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!! I get you may get in faster but it will be for nothing. She wouldn't even look at my children's skin. Yeah, you read that right! When I pressed her on it she STILL didn't even look. I had a double appointment too-two kids. It was beyond bad. ***On a side note...the fact that she is still employed is a Human Resources issue. What does it say about Tri-Health that she has a job? To other parents...I'm so sorry! We will find the help we need...somehow!

Go somewhere else
It was a waste of a visit to see Dr. Sheth. I was just trying to get answers to help my child with a skin virus. She didn't answer any of my questions and made me feel stupid for asking them. The visit was so rushed. I would not recommend taking you child to her. I am still clueless as to what I need to do to help my child. I will be going somewhere else for sure. The ladies who work the front desk and schedule appointments have no idea what they are doing.

Horrible Bedside Manner.
Terrible bedside manor. She had zero personality. Never even touched my child to inspect her rash, never expressed any interest at all in her care or well being. Was upset that my 2 year old was occupied by coloring on the paper cover used on the inspection table. Just a few days into treatment and my daughters symptoms are worse by 75%. Maybe had she paid a little bit of attention and actually inspected the child, we would have better results. I would recommend someone else. Even google seems like a better alternative. Waited two months for this? We were seen by Dr Anita Sheth.

If I could give a 0 I would. All I can say is RUN. I did that with my 12 year old son the other day in her office. She has the worse EQ of any doctor I’ve ever encountered. I’ve encounter a lot too. She told my son to not show her his bump until she was ready to see it. She recommended a biopsy and said she didn’t think it was a serious bump and my son got full of anxiety and tears were streaming down his face. I told him they will numb it and it won’t hurt. Dr. Sheth said it will hurt. He he started getting progressively more anxious and the nurse said this won’t be fun. The nurse then proceeded to get someone to hold him down when he didn’t need it. I grabbed my coat and son and ran out of there. I was so upset I actually told the doctor and nurse that they both suck as I was leaving. I hate being confrontational and it ruined my day. I saw the bad reviews before I came and thought since my sons pcp recommended her it would be ok. It’s not RUN or cancel your appointment ASAP.

Would not take a child to Dr. Anita Sheth. She told me that was 11 year old son was old enough to make his medical decisions. She belittled me as a parent and I ended up just having to walk out because she upset me so much. I drove 45 minutes to see her and she would do the procedure because my son was nervous. Said she couldn't hold him down even though I never asked her. My son teared up but wasn't acting like he needed to be held down. When we got home, my son asked me why a doctor was so mean.

Dr Sheth was very curt with my six year old and myself from the start of our appointment. We were referred to her to address a growth on my sons face that has been growing rapidly. She requested proof that it had increased in size, inferring that she did not believe a parents account of the situation. She refused to biopsy the growth saying that she “does what is in the best interest of children”. She then said she was not personally comfortable performing procedures on six year olds faces. She begrudgingly mentioned Children’s Hospital for a potential second opinion after I pressed for someone who could help my child. I explained that I had worked at CCHMC, she asked my position there and asked what my current employment is. Both questions completely impertinent to my child’s best interest and completely confrontational. This is not a pediatric dermatologist that acts in children’s best interests if she refuses to provide care because she is personally uncomfortable.

Dr. Sheth might be knowledgeable but lacks the bedside manner. We feel so unsatisfied after seeing her. Her behavior is not what you expect from a pediatric dermatology. Adolescence is the age when you have to listen to the insecurities of a kid and show compassion and make them feel important, don’t brush off their concern. She comes off as condescending and mocking our concerns. I will not refer to any of my friends to go see her. Her nurse was more compassionate than her.

WORST "DOCTOR" EVER! Was rude, condescending, & disrespectful. "Dr." Sheth would ask my daughter a question & then cut her off when she tried to answer. My dtr has a connective tissue disorder, so not all answers are cut & dry. Offered to prescribe a medication which, upon research, I found would have been catastrophic to my dtr's health- Sheth might have known this had she taken time to actually have a 2 way conversation with us. When I asked her if this med was hard on any of the organs, her reply was, "They have been using this medication effectively for 30 years." Any idiot could figure out there must be some significant side effects if they require monthly blood tests. She basically told us we could give her one of three meds, & without discussing any of the side effects, expected us to decide which we would choose. Then she sarcastically told my daughter that she should continue taking her pills "the right way", My dtr, normally strong, was in tears by the end of the appt.
