amazing doc, but hard to get in and always a wait
Dr. Hudson-Fraley is kind, knowledgeable, funny, puts you at ease, and always takes time to listen to your concerns. I have been going to her for years, and she is my main doc at Wayne Women's. I trust her expertise and she has always resolved my issues. The only problems are 1) it is extremely hard to get in appointments to be seen by her because she stays so busy and also works at the hospital, so aside from my annual visits, I often end up seeing other providers if urgent issues come up; and 2) it is always a very long wait for appointments, easily upwards of an hour or more in the afternoons, though having seen other providers at Wayne Women's, I think this is more of a Wayne Women's issue and not a Dr. Hudson-Fraley issue. (The only provider where there has not been a wait is Jomeka Mowery, NP/Midwife.) Overall, I do recommend Dr. Hudson-Fraley and have always appreciated the excellent care she has provided, I just wish it was easier to get in and the wait wasn't so long.

I have never been body shamed by a provider before I met Dr. Anita Hudson-Fraley. To keep it short, struggling with infertility for over a year. Was basically told that due to my weight I couldnt get pregnant, I was pre-diabetic, and had PCOS. I have hypothyroidism, my TSH was never drawn as well as any other basic labs. None of my questions were answered, I would have to take notes on my phone because if I missed something the office doesn’t answer their phone, nor do they answer patient portal messages in a time-sensitive fashion. I now go to a much more professional office where they sent me to a specialist which is what should have happened first anyway. My A1C is “perfect” per my Fertility doc, I have not had to have Metformin, she disagrees with the PCOS dx. We found my TSH was too high for pregnancy and my Vit D was too low. Do your research before you try to shame someone just because they don’t fit the perfect body type. Absolute disgrace!
