Dr. Anish Nihalani, MD

Although my surgery and results went well, getting an appointment and dealing with the rude front desk staff at this office has been a nightmare. Ive made appointments months in advance and have been asked to wait over an hour to be seen for a post-op appointment which is strictly rude and unacceptable. After bringing it to the front desks attention, I was told I was more than welcome to wait or reschedule because “The doctors busy and running behind”. Will not be going there for any reason anymore, RUN.

I am always greeted with a smile when I walk in. The staff goes out of their way to make the patient feel comfortable. I made the decision to go with Dr Nihalani for my weight loss surgery after going to his office and meeting him and his staff. I am down 90 lbs since March 4 and it’s all due to the team in Dr. Nihalani office.

Staff are very rude. Made appointment online on a Friday, Monday got a call about insurance and asked me to text info - I texted images of insurance and additional details, next day got a call saying insurance was ok, but wanted to know what I was meeting the doctor for - which I then told her. Go to day of appointment and they know nothing and say I did not have appointment and don't take the insurance cause they don't pay them. Never received notification they don't take the insurance before that.

I never got to see the doctor because the website and staff are a disaster, you can just book appointments online when there is no availability and then when you speak to the doctors office the book you the wrong appointment I’m not wasting my time.

I made an appointment for June 29 2021 via their portal. My appointment got moved without my acknowledgement to the date and time I am unavailable. Upon calling to confirm my appointment It came as a shock that my appointment has been moved. Moreover the receptionist did not bother to work with me and kept saying I gave you my availability and its not working for you instead of being apologetic. Now I am more than nervous to go and deal with rude staff. I really wanted to visit Dr. Nihalani as I heard he is great doctor in an area.

The doctor isn't bad however his staff is incredibly rude. Beware that once you have your surgery, your needs will be of no concern to the doctors office. Extremely long waits for visits, unresponsive to phone calls, very rude receptionist.

Best decision I’ve ever made, Dr Nihalani is great! The one and only problem with his office, I have yet to be seen on time appointment times always run at least 30 minutes behind if your lucky. I’ve waited an hour past my appointment time once.

I was really afraid to have the sleeve but goin through this process, Anish and his staff made me feel very comfortable. I’m so glad that I made the decision to get it done. Also, I’m 7 months out and that was the best decision that I made. I would recommend Dr. Anish anytime because I’m happy with the work him and his crew performed on me.

I want to thank Doctor Anish Nihalani and his staff for the Wonderful and professional job that they did on my surgery on February 07, 2019. I pray to the Lord Jesus Christ to keep guidance and wisdom so the Surgeon keep doing excellent work. Luis Orlando Salazar Zamora.

As great as Dr. Nihalani might be, his staff is a nightmare. They are rude, arrogant and don't explain anything, If you call there asking to speak to the doctor, they will not put you through. I doubt they even give him the message, rather they try to diagnose you themselves over the phone. I could never recommend this doctor because of his staff. Horrible experience.

Dr. Nihalani changed my life for the better. He and his staff provided the necessary information, resources, and support throughout the Gastric Sleeve experience. He thoroughly explained my options and put me at ease from the first visit. He provided his recommendation and let me decide when or if... I most certainly would recommend him to all friends and family who are ready for the journey to a better wellness lifestyle. His staff is friendly and encouraging you can only smile ??

My experience with Dr. Nihalani has been nothing short of amazing. He was so knowledgeable and informative that I immediately trusted him to perform my weight loss procedure. I feel completely satisfied with the quality of care I received and would highly recommend him to family and friends. Throughout this experience He has provided me with so many resources. I started my journey with Dr Nihalani in Feb 2017, I was suffering with high bp for at least 2 years and needed to do something about it. I lost 28lbs on my own, I had gastric sleeve on 7/7/17, I am currently 248lbs, and on nothing major, I feel amazing, thanks to nihalani. He walked me thru the whole process from beginning to end, and I would recommend anyone to him.

Dr. Nihalani was absolutely amazing. He talked to me about my procedure and helped me through the process. I felt very cared for in his practice. He ensured that I had all the information needed for success. I am so incredibly grateful to this wonderful doctor and his staff.

I'm a nurse and kind of difficult to deal with. Dr. Nihalani put me at ease on my first visit. Answered all my questions and told me I did not need surgery! He told me what to look for to indicate I would need surgery. When the time came Dr. N explained what surgery was needed and we proceeded. My scars are even wonderful!

I had the gastric sleeve done and what I liked most was he prepared me two to three months prior to my surgery by having me do the diet that I would basically live on the remainder of my life. It prepared me so well that it was very easy after the procedure to cut back on my meals and not get discouraged. I have lost 95 pounds since my procedure at the end of May 2015 and it has changed my life forever. I'm a totally new person and I owe it all to Dr. Nihalani. He's the absolute best!

Office staff was experienced and helpful, Dr.Nihalani's bedside manner was proffesional and refreshing.
