Dr. Anis Toumeh, MD

Dr. Toumeh is such a caring, excellent doctor! He goes out of his way to explain your medical situation in a way that the patient can understand. I have the utmost confidence in his skills and really appreciated his guidance. I felt like Garden City, KS was so lucky to have his level of expertise and skill and was saddened when I heard that Dr. Toumeh had moved. I did my treatment at MD Anderson in Houston and Dr. Toumeh did a wonderful job of working with the doctors there. At a time when you're most vulnerable you want to have a doctor like Dr. Toumeh in your corner.

Dr Toumeh is excellent at communicating and does so in a quick manner. He calls personally if he has questions or wants to keep you up to date on your medical treatments.

Dr. Toumeh has a wonderful sense of humor combined with an empathetic attitude that makes you feel heard. He tells you exactly what the plan is so you know what to expect moving g forward.

In response to treatment provided my brother (now deceased) at St. Catherine's, it should be noted that Dr. Toumeh and staff responded in a professional and encouraging way, referring a surgeon to schedule what others in that field seemed to treat lightly, almost lackadaisical (which is odd, at best, considering the nature of cancer). Though the damage had been done earlier, when melanoma was treated with salves until testing revealed its seriousness, having spread over time to lymph glands, to have the added insult of being advised that the oncologist assigned to my brother need a stress test first, before the MD went on vacation (no return date set yet), so surgery to remove the cancer would need to be postponed. That's when Dr. Toumeh stepped up to provide the urgent needed care. Over a couple conference calls, it was easy to hear and understand that my brother would be getting the best care possible at that point. Yea for the kind of doctor all should be. THANKS DR. TOUMEH!
