First Visit
Dr Goel relieved my concern for the constant headache and spent lots of time with me to explain the cause. Very professional and personable.

Do not go there
I would not recommend her. The worst Dr. I ever met in my life. I was suffering for a back pain, she refused to fill out my short term disability form despite the visits I had been having with her. She kept me waiting for 45mns in a room and spent less than 10mns with me to filled out only 1 page. She sent me a bill of $445 for that hour plus $35 for the 1 page she filled out. Out of 4 pages she filled out only 1 page. she told me she left blank the questions she did not know, but I know she did not read them because they asked about the date of my first and last visit, the date of my next visit, the prescription she gave me, the side effects of it, my heart beats rate, my blood pressure, my dob, my name, my weight, my height, etc. I wonder what she knows about her patients beside good insurance to pay the bills. She also added a note saying I refused to do physical therapy, to see primary care giver and to see pain management which is a big lie.

Hurting Patient
Dr Goel doesnt care about her patients, doesnt listen to her patients and doesnt even diagnose her patients correctly, nor give the correct medicine to deal with the problem. Worst doctor ever.

Dr. Goel is the BEST
They genuinely don’t make doctors like Dr. Goel anymore. I have suffered from migraines for years and have been on countless medications without help. She just listened and figured out it was a side effect of one of my blood pressure medications. Since switching medications, my life has changed. I wish I had gone to her sooner.

Horrible person, no bedside manner, waste of time!
Rushed, stuck up and blatantly rude. Put her hand in my face and waived it around while refusing to address any questions. Had to cancel the appointment it was so bad. Complete waste of time.

Blessed she is our neurologist
Dr.Goel is extremely caring and thorough. She gave me printed copies of my studies and then left hand written notes for me as reminders of how to take my medications and my diagnosis. My wife is now her patient too. We feel so blessed to have found her

Patients Beware Worst Doctor Ever that Lies
Ms. Goel is the worse doctor I have ever experienced in all my years and I have seen over 100 doctors. She doesn't even greet you, then tells false pretenses and makes up stories and when you catch her in one of her lies she becomes angry with you the patient. In my case I was seeing her for a following up to get results for my MRI & Lab results she was almost 1 hour late when she came in the room she never said Hello, I'm sorry for the wait, nothing just already in guarded mode. Then she proceed to ask me about a medication that was discussed previously, but never given to me. When I called her out on this that's when she got all high and mighty saying I was lying and she had sent it in to my pharmacy over a month ago so I said ok what pharmacy did you send it to...she did some typing then story changed again oh it was left at the front desk cause there was no pharmacy on file. I said thats not true and she told me to find another doctor then, thankfully my wife was there to witness.

She needs sensitivity training, better customer skills and she needs to listen to her patient and not always through meds at them. She is very combative and she has put a bad taste in my mouth for a good overall good doctor's office

I found the doctor to be uninterested in my concerns. She did a cursory exam and review of my labs. I had a list of questions that were unanswered. Upon leaving a review of my feelings on the appointment (sent to me by the Hospital affiliate), the office staff responded with a rude e-mail telling me I was wrong for leaving a bad review. Will not return and would not recommend.

The staff called and left a message reminding me of my appointment. It didn’t say please call to verify you are coming. The MA asked me did I get his message about my appointment. I said I saw you called the day before and I say you called twice today but you didn’t leave a voicemail. He said my voicemail must be full. I advised it’s not full it’s empty. I also advised I work full-time and when I go to lunch your office is closed and when I get off from work your office is closed. If don’t leave a voicemail asking me to call you back. How am I suppose to know. The position I have I do hiring which means I am doing interviews, employment verifications, and other job duties. I advised I can’t tell an employer to hold on a minute to answer a personal call. The MA got attitude with me. I guess he thinks I don’t work or I am working from home. Due to the position I have I can’t work from home. I am not am not a mind reader!!! I am not going back to this due the MA and the Doctor.

I seen her a few weeks ago the appointment was rushed answered my question very briefly had her residency doctor shadowing her walked in with the lady and ask do you mind if she comes in. She should’ve asked or had her medical assistant ask me before she came in with the lady. Did her neurological exam very quick and brief. Not sure if I caught her on a hectic day but it was the first and last visit. Bedside manner not good didn’t seem concerned or as if she cared.

There are a lot of things that I could say. Let me just say this and trust me when I say this. You do not want Anika Goel as your Neurologist/Migraine Specialist. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this woman. You really do not want to get yourself involved with her. Find another Neurologist/Migraine Specialist, any other physician. If you go and get yourself involved with her, don't say that you weren't warned beforehand.
