Best doctor that I have found!
I have been seeing Dr. Berberyan as a patient for more than a year now. She is the one doctor that I feel like has really cared about me and my medical conditions. She has spent countless hours reviewing lab work, consulting with other doctors and even calling and texting me trying help me improve my health. I am a rather complex patient with several diagnoses and so keeping me stable has been no easy task. I feel like she has made herself available and has my best interest at heart. I would highly recommend her.

Beware of gate keeper
Can’t get a visit. Receptionist relays messages. Can’t seem to get in anymore with this person there. If your not feeling well they refer you to urgent care. I think I’ve been there more than my Drs office.

Very personable
Very happy with Dr. Berberyan. The wait time for my first scheduled visit was not long and Dr. Berberyan was very friendly and talkative - listened to what my concerns and needs were. Staff is super nice (I've called back several times for referral follow up) and they've quick & responsive.

There are some doctors who are interested in the latest clinical studies and advances in medicine and embrace a knowledgeable patient. Those doctors take the opportunity to work collaboratively with those patient to deliver state of the art care without having to concern themselves with the chore of teaching the patient every step of the way. Then there are doctors who prefer the doctor-patient relationship is more authoritarian: the doctor knows what's best and patient questions may be interpreted as challenging their knowledge and expertise. In my experience, Dr. Berberyan is the latter.

Dr. Berberyan is the only doctor I have found that actually listened. She cared, I wasn't just being marked off a checklist and she never rushed. She is so funny, heard my complaints, did not interrupt when I spoke, went out of her way to get me into an endocrinologist, and made me feel heard. My sister was even in the process to making this Dr. her doctor and making her, her primary care doc. I was very upset to learn she had moved to a different office (close by) but one that wouldn't be accepting my insurance. I really do hope she switches back over to IEHP but for now I hope to find a doctor just as great, I know it will be very hard to do so though, because it took me 5 years to find Dr. Berberyan. She truly made an impact on my health life and I hope one day she reads this. Thank you for everything Dr. B! -Hannah B. (The girl with hypo)
