Dr. Balmanoukian is the best health care provider I have ever seen. She takes the time to explain everything and goes above and beyond to put you at ease during difficult times.I certainly recommend her!

My initial in-person appointment the doctor was amazing! She was attentive, thorough and great listener. However, the provider was late to my virtual follow-up appointment. In her defense, she appeared tired. However, it was a totally different experience. She didn't remember anything we discussed during our first appointment and I felt rushed and my concerns minimized. She made a recommendation to continue iron tablets when I told her the previous appointment I had stopped taking them 3 months ago. I had to advocate for myself to get iron infusions because her recommendation was based on incorrect information about my medical history. I do not believe I received the thorough care I deserved to discuss my results. She's is very kind and a great doctor, but I could tell she was not present or prepared from my second appointment. Ani Balmanoukian is a wonderful physician and person

I'm just sorry Dr. Balmanoukian is not going to be coming to the Angeles Clinic anymore. I live five minutes from the Clinic. Now, I'll have to drive to Tarzana (over an hour away) to see her, but I will, since I think she's a fabulous hematologist.

Dr. Balmanoukian is simply phenomenal! She is extremely knowledgeable, kind, patient, and caring.

My doctor is always willing to spend the time necessary to make sure I understand what treatment is best for me and keeps on top of referrals if needed.
